Just tried a timetable run with the Scottsaman, and it will not budge.

Realeased all the brakes, shut all the doors. The wheels just spin if you put the regulator up far enough, it's as if there is a handbrake on.

Tried the Scottsman on the other route and in the training centre and it runs fine.

    Anyone else seeing this problem?

depends on the weather, do not apply too much "throttle". also try sanding a bit.

you need to open the large ejector and let the number build up to 21 then close it again
    after that you can drive
maybe those passenger wagons are vacuum brakes instead of air ones
since Flying Scotman uses airbrakes and then they act up
no idea why else the brakes are acting up when passenger train are on
on the training module it works fine

    Thanks, that did it.

Think I have to read up a bit about steam trains.

I just uncoupled the carriages and it moved off ha ha. Yeah proves it has to do with the brakes on the carriages.

I had that and thought it rather odd, but of course we got used to running FS with air brake stock on ECML whereas on WSR I guess the Mark Ones are VB.
