    Hello there,
If anyone mods on the Microsoft store/Xbox App on PC please assist!
I've only been recently getting into the modding community as someone released a branding and signage pack with the LNWR livery. - And my gosh it enhances it like a charm!

However when I tried to install the announcement packs the file directories are fairly different to the steam version of the game. I kept trying to install this via Xbox Games > Train Sim World 5... However there's separate folders for the routes in that folder and if anyone else does mod using this platform to give me a quick run down I'd be extremely grateful.

As they come with a content & binaries folder. I followed the steps to put them in the WinGDK Folder rather than the win64 folder.

I'm trying to get the announcements to work - as this would just enhance my gameplay but tbh as we're 5 train world's into the series. I think it's about we start to have train announcements and they have been introduced before. DTG should pay these modders to get a hold of the announcements unless it's a licensing issue they could still create their own.

I can answer this, but I'm not a modder (yet). I am also a user of Microsoft store compatible mods and instead of installing them on the TSW5 folder, I put them in the specific DLC it works for, so say a PIS mod for ECML. I would start with Xbox games -> East Coast Mainline -> TSW2 prototype -> Content -> DLC. This normally works for me this way. I have never tried to download announcements though as they normally require Steam and Soundpad.

Yeah, I think it's all to do with the file directory but understanding where to put the "content" folder & "binaries" folder in the TSW5 directory was quite difficult.

I've actually got the LNWR branding and signage mod which did require me to go into this directory, but I ended up getting so confused with installing the Audio

Wouldn't the sound pad be essentially a playlist with a key-bind for next station annoucement? You should be able to run that fine I haven't had any issues using a soundpad but automatic announcements are very tricky to install.

Same. I can't wait for the WCML Enhancement pack coming out. Not too sure about sound pad as I've never used it before.

To install Automatic Train Announcements for the Microsoft/Xbox store version, follow these steps:
    1. Copy the contents of "WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Binaries\Win64" to "XboxGames\Train Sim World- 5\Content\TS2Prototype\Binaries\WinGDK"
    2. Copy the file "WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC\AutoAnnouncer.pak" to "XboxGames\Train Sim World- 5\Content\TS2Prototype\Content\Paks"
Make sure you have the latest version of the mod as older versions will not work.
