I've recently bought an Xbox Controller for use with Assassins Creed via Steam and I'm wondering if: A: Can it be used with TSW on PC (Steam says it's compatible)? B: Does it add any advantages vs keyboard and mouse / in addition to keyboard and mouse? In spite of everything, I've bought Deluxe so I'm hoping to give it bash / thrash soon.
I find it more tactile and intuitive. Everything falls under your fingers so you don't have to look away to the keyboard.
It will work fine. There are way less buttons in the Xbox controller than in a keyboard, so you will still need to use the keyboard for some things. The controller does not add anything that you can't do with mouse and keyboard. It is there so you can use it if you find it more comfortable.
I wouldn't say it has any advantages vs keyboard I switched from Xbox to pc to I think personally comes down the what you prefer soon as you've got a controller would recommend giving it a try for a few days and see how you get along could find you prefer it
