Xbox Xbox Curser Disappears

Hi all
Can anyone help please?
I would like to drive with the hud off. Problem is, the dot/curser also disappeared. I am driving class 66 and this makes it impossible to put the reverser key in or set the train length for example. Am I missing something please? Many thanks.

I don’t think you can leave the cursor/dot on as it’s part of the hud, turning one off turns it both off
