I’m playing tsw5 on an Xbox one S and it is in the buggiest state i’ve ever seen in any of the tsw games. West Coast Mainline is completely unplayable as it crashes every time i enter or depart Euston without fail. Having purchased the class 390 i am now starting to heavily regret that decision as i can’t even finish a single service or scenario!! Game textures are often so blurry you can’t even read signs or even the branding on the trains itself. I don’t know what else to do other than beg for an update soon as releasing the game in this state is totally unacceptable.
I think mate its time to upgrade Gen 8 cant handle TSW games no more yes the crashing does happen on a newer Xbox but the there is less blurry textures it is some what more playable then on Gen 8
i played it on series X and it was miles better my question is why even bother releasing the game on xbox one in this state it’s totally unacceptable since i’ve had no issues with previous games
I agree coming from Gen 8 my self it should of not been released on gen 8 nor should TSW 4 of been released on gen 8
I have all the time blurred Textures on Series X Frankfurt Fulda is unplayable because it happen on every Drive and don’t Go Away
The majority of the player base is still on gen 8, that's why. They're not going to cut off half their revenue stream.
I think its absolutely unfair to "blame" others for playing tsw on gen 8 consoles when they experiencing problems especially when its this severe as stated. I remember when i was basically unable to reach Dresden Hbf, mind you ive paid the same price as everyone, which is sort of understandable as you can upgrade onto gen 9 later for free, but its absolute not okay to sell out a game in that state to customers. After i upgraded to ps5, tsw for me almost became a new game as it runs at looks so much better. Im actually defending the Idea to ditch gen 8s now, not because im in the opinion that its holding us up but rather because i think its unfair to the customers.
This is reported many times already and DTG is aware about this problem. Not rude but this problem is described many times already.
Xbox series x has crashed loads of times for me. Poor performance stuttering fps drops. Flickering dash board and so on. How does this even get sent out.
Yet in another thread you don't want DTG to throw all available resources at fixing it, but want them to release more DLC's. Make you mind up!
If you have noticed they are bizzey to fixed this issue to change the layers for different consoles but thats not the solution! They try to avoid more work with that but Lucky they have no possible options anymore. Why i think thats "Lucky" is youre question maybe.... The point is they try to avoid this problem for a long time but now the options are gone. It means the core game needs a large step to other things and need large renovation and maybe the step to newer UE versions. But they know that will result in massive problems.
I'm not stalking you. I can't reply to something I haven't read as you've posted it after I've replied. You clearly do not understand how game development works or what I'm trying to say across multiple threads. You are actually almost reposting what I'm saying through Google Translate, and then posting it as your own words.
I'm of the same mind now, I play on the classic xbone but this game, not even 4 for that matter, should've been released for the older systems, not in this state. I got the WCML on gamepass thankfully otherwise I would be superbly annoyed, because this is totally unacceptable to even bother presenting the product in two different states and glossing over this broken buggy mess, I mean sure showcase the best possible version, makes total sense, but it makes no sense to suggest it'll function or look that way on those older systems. I can't even access the store in-game anymore for an infinitely spinning loading wheel. Apart from my other gripes with these UI 'upgrades' from TSW3, the technical issues they still can't get a grapple on (even on more powerful machines), blurred textures (with the apparent corelation of camera zoom), choppy framerates, the vastly reduced services (377/2 is practically non existent even though it's on the cover of the dlc), it's borderline false advertising now and unfair to older gen costumers. Like I could do without it and know that I'd have to upgrade to play it than have it be accessible in this garbage state. I mean we're 5 games in and only now are they tackling the render distance of the track shadow. The old problems that still exist will just be more exacerbated with each iteration and that is main problem, like it STILL won't let you unsubscribe from mods in the in-game creators club UI for god sake! Certainly in my experience. It reminds me of when I first got Mercenaries 2 years ago for PS2, I was naively expecting the xbox/ps3 version only to be thoroughly disappointed and it was worse than the first Mercenaries. Not that I was expecting peak performance this time around but the moral is, they shouldn't have bothered to make that version to begin with.
