I play TSW3 (Deluxe Edition and the version I bought was the preorder version with the decals) on PC and normally launch it through the XBOX App. Today when I went to play, it is completely missing and I couldn't launch it. I tried the same on my Laptop with the same result. It still works from the desktop icon and it seems to have updated with yesterdays Steam Loco Patch. If I try to install it on a PC where it was never installed before though, it won't acknowledge that I own it and tries to charge me. My only option is to purchase it, which I obviously don't want to do. Has anyone else seen this issue? It's not the worst problem as I can still play and can see all my DLC, but it's annoying that I can't launch it from the same place I run all my other games. Also it could be a problem if I ever need to reinstall. No issue on the console either.
Do you happen to use more than one MS Store account? The only time I see an issue like this is when the Store account and the XBox app account do not match.
No, just the one MS Store account and all my other games show up fine including TSW2. The Xbox app clearly knows I own it as it updated it fine and lets me play via a desktop icon. I just can’t play via the Xbox app or install on another PC because the store says the Pre Order deluxe package is no longer a available and it doesn’t recognise the current deluxe edition (without the pre order decals) as something I own.
