Will TSW5 and it's DLC be included in the Spring Sale tomorrow? I hope XBOX players aren't getting shafted with full price DLC again, while everything else in the XBOX store goes on 50-90% discount. EDIT: I may have jumped the gun a bit. Looks like the sale starts either Wednesday or Thursday.
I wouldn't say no to a good Discount for Semmeringbahn. It's probably too early to expect a good Discount for the Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn.
I’d be astounded if there was anything. The Game Pass sneak preview version of the sale didn’t have anything.
Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn: Mannheim - Kaiserslautern and Bahnstrecke Salzburg - Rosenheim both have their gamepass discounts coming to an end in 7 days. This is usually an indicator of it going on sale the day after. There may be others, that are also having its discount removed in 7 days but I'm unable to see because I already own it.
It will be the standard, deluxe and premium versions on discount. At least that what is was last year during the Spring Sale. Just purely guessing though.
Yeah sounds about right, we get the bad sales and everyone else (other platforms) gets the good sales
Well so far there doesn’t seem to be any but this may change. for context normally sales change at 12/1am. Honestly at this rate I’m going to be 6ft in the ground before another Xbox sale
Funny enough I dont wait for tsw sale on xbox anymore... This year only free upgrades and maybe tsw6 - treated as 3 route bargain.
It’s the same on PS, no dlc discounted within the last 12 months, just older content. It’s good for new players if they’re expanding their collection. Looks like I’ll be saving my money though, not to bothered as I have plenty of games to play.

Bad sales no, Bad sales in terms for people like myself who own a lot of the older dlc, yes. To give you the run down I haven’t bought a single German route in the last year or so I was hoping to see some discount on those routes. I agree Xbox does get shafted when it comes to sales, but they did have a few sales going back in January and last month on a lot of routes, so they’re getting better. I remember picking up Gospel Oak and Cathcart. I always treat my Series X as a back up to play incase my PS5 or PC is in-use.
A lot of routes? In the last sale are you joking, we got 8 to 12 DLCs 3 of them were £5 packs and then there was few loco packs and then only then there was like 4 routes on sale and each of them had already been on sale within past 6 months (honestly at this point this game is not worth playing on Xbox)
How to playstation get such good sales my mate has just bought a crrraaappp load of routes and locos and spend next to nothing.
The routes I saw on sale within the last 6 months were the Goblin line, Blackpool Branches (reduced around the time WCML (Pres-Carlisle) was released, BCC, Cathcart, ECW, London Commuter, LIRR (Remaster), Edinburgh to Glasgow and whole bunch of locomotive packs. There may have been more, but that’s just some off the top of my head that I saw. So I wouldn’t say there hasn’t been any routes on sale. I don’t want to add more salt to the wound, but you’re right. Xbox is the worst choice to play TSW. It’s always suffered from the most issues, some of which will never be fixed. Audio popping and Z-fighting, this is not a DTG issue, it’s an Xbox issue, so unless the next generation of Xbox consoles resolves this than expect more of the same problems.
Whilst Zfighting is apparently something unique to xbox, they've known since around June or July last year what the fix is. They've even said this on multiple roadmaps since. It would also ensure it doesn't happen in future content. (Although it seems to keep happening) So yes, dtg can absolutely do something about it.
I hope you’re right. I feel at this point DTG will say anything to keep the peace or give us some hope. We need are most likely expecting a TSW6 reveal coming in the summer. It’s been almost a year since they’ve known about the problem and it’s highly unlikely it will ever be fixed for TSW5. New game, old issues get swept under the carpet. No Z-Fighting might be one of a new features for TSW6 though.
It was said at the release of tsw 5, that anything from the core routes would be fixed. Obviously it wasn't, and like you, I highly doubt it will be. Certainly not for tsw 5. It wouldn't be the first time that dtg have said something (like you say, most likely just to keep the peace) but then it never materialising. To be honest, I think it's seen as a trivial issue internally. It was raised (again) in the April roadmap, because it's there again on the 153. The answer? Well, it's been raised again with the art team....so, what, it might happen again and it might not? Does it just depend how diligent someone is feeling on a particular day?
Hmmm well I hope they launch a sale soon for Xbox I want to pick up the MBTA ,SPG & Horeshoe curve route to add to my CJP Scenarios. but than again I may just wait to see what else DTG has in store for the next US releases …
Spring sale items are now listed and so far it's TSW5 Standard Edition for £12 and erm, that's your lot.
After 3 iterations of TSW DTG is still unable to gain XIS (optimised for Xsxs) category... that's sad
While there is understandable disappointment with Xbox Sales in general, I remind everyone that most of what you are waiting for is DLC. DLCs are rather rare in general for Xbox sales, but after every huge sale (such as Spring, New Year's and such) a DLC sale often follows, so there is hope. In addition, Focus is one of those publishers that often has sales dedicated to them, and TSW content started popping up on those, too. So let's keep our fingers crossed for something soon. I am not picking up standard at -70%. I am waiting for Deluxe at this discount or lower.
What I've noticed is that when there is a sale its normally all the same stuff. No matter what time of the year it is always the same routes/locos in sales.
Might be a good way to get WCMLS tbh or if no one bought the core routes and just went with the free pack like I did. Although I'm still not convinced on the state of WCMLS
Absolutely Typical of Microsoft. I feel so sorry for Xbox players who get very few items in a sale. l am not looking for an Xbox sale as apart from the Expert 101, l have the lot. I will buy the expert 101, when l have run out of things to play.

Yeah, I had the same thought...but as Blitzbeast implied, there will be better bundle deals as the TSW6 bandwagon draws ever closer

How can you see this, for me it doesn’t show when things are going off the game pass discount, I just want to know if there’s anything or not that I don’t already own
I'm guessing you have to have Gamepass, to see when the deals are ending? I can see the discounts if I were to have Gamepass, but that's all.
Won’t show for ones you already own but if you go onto the product page on the Xbox store, ones with an upcoming sale will say “Game Pass discount ending in X days”. The only one I’ve spotted myself was the Kaiserslautern one, but sure there will be more out there.
If its at a decent discount I might pick that one up, as I think the ICE on that route can work on multiple systems unlike the one in Koln Aachen
My hope is Scotrail express even though it’s quite bad, any of the Swedish routes and a few of the us freight routes
