So turned on Xbox this evening and saw they had advertised the Ultimate add on sale, couldn’t believe my luck. So immediately I thought I’ll be able to pick up some tsw dlc with this but no. Not ONE PIECE OF DLC was available. Meanwhile on pc steam have some sales and a Swiss celebration discount. ps5 also still has a sale on. I’m beginning to regret purchasing this on Xbox and so I’ve decided to halt all purchases on dlc until xbox users get parity. It’s just not on really. 10% off is nothing on dlc that’s 23 quid or 29 quid. It’s not enough to make me part with my cash. DTG why are you treating Xbox players like this? Why?
It's on Microsoft. Dtg do what they can but decision is on Microsoft. Usually things on game pass rarely get big sales.
That's just not true at all. I've had Game pass for several years, you do get massive discounts and sales with most of the games. This is not on Microsoft, how could it be?
The sales are usually limited to certain publishers, looking at this one I see multiple titles from; 505, Coffee Stain, Paradox, Capcom, Ubisoft, Team17, WB, Frontier, Sega, Square Enix, EA, and Microsoft. No sign of any Focus titles getting their DLC included in this sale, such as Greedfall, The Surge, Mudrunner, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Necromunda, etc. so no surprise TSW is not in there either.
It is, it's based on the publishers size/volume. The EA's and Rockstar type publishers get way more sales than DTG does. But you know it the difference to Millions of dollars in sales to billions. Go back in the forums there are at least 4 or 5 threads where it is explained why since 2021.
