山手線 | Yamanote Line Line description Yamanote Line is a circular urban railway in the centre of Tokyo, Japan. It is one of Tokyo's busiest and most important lines, connecting most of the city major stations including Marunouchi, the Yūrakuchō/Ginza area, Shinagawa, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro and Ueno. The line is used by an average of 3.72 million people every day. A local service running the entire 34.5 km loop takes 60 to 65 minutes. All trains stop at each station, which are 30 on the entire line. There is actually, for timetable purposes, a terminal station, Osaki Station, next to Shinagawa, on the southern part of the line. Osaki station was chosen since it is the site of the JR rail yards. Line map Line rolling stock The current rolling stock is E235 series EMU. They are built since 2015 for JR East and only used on Yamanote Line. Line video Thanks for reading
Yeah, I would like to have a japanese route too in TSW2 as Japan have many nice trains and this is a very common passion in this country. I would like to see some countryside and calm routes like Wakayama-Sakurai Line in TS2020, with beautiful landscapes, and some urban and busy routes like Yamanote Line Hope the future will bring us Japanese lines
I'm not sure TSW would handle the sheer crazy of the Yamanote, I think even a powerful PC would struggle with it. - it would also suffer if the parallel routes are empty. Personally I think one of the more self contained lines would be a good starting point. Maybe something like the Keiyo would be a good starter?
I like the Yamanote Line in JP. There's another rolling stock E231. But Yamanote Line E231 has been retired in 2020. Pictures from Google.
