If you mean geometry, it's a case of "well yes but actually no." - You can "add" onto a model in the form of child objects, which are separate objects that are attached to the locomotive. - You can also "erase" parts using a script to hide nodes, but often times the thing you want to remove is part of a bigger set of parts within the node that also get taken away. For example, say you wanted to remove a horn, except that horn is part of a bigger node that also contains handrails and latches, so if you make the node invisible, you get rid of the horn, the handrails, and the latches. Most of the time "node deletion" isn't very effective, unless you get lucky and can remove exactly what you want. As for straight up porting the geometry into blender or 3d modelling software, it's possible, but illegal to release since it violates the creator's copyright.
I would like to change some things in the 3D Model of the Locomotives built for the TSC as seen on that EMD SD70M they edited it from the outside to make it more realistic than the ones already created The Page of Locomotive is https://clearsignalmods.wixsite.com/clearsignalmods/up-sd70m And The page of The BUY Locomotives is https://store.steampowered.com/app/208365/Train_Simulator_SD70_V2_Volume_2_Loco_AddOn/ I would like to change the exterior view of the GMD SD40-2W of the Peace River Route because the 4 Windows where the Train Machinist look through are very low The Page of BUY Route is https://store.steampowered.com/app/621926/Train_Simulator_Canadian_National_Peace_River_Route_AddOn/ I would like to edit the height with a Model I created of the Metra EMD F40PH because the Locomotive does not fit the height of the NS Cars and the NS Cab Car And create at least one replacement from the head of the EMD F40PH to the head EMD F40PHM-2 The Page of BUY Route is https://store.steampowered.com/app/258648/Train_Simulator_The_Racetrack_Aurora__Chicago_Route_AddOn/ I like to create just the locomotive exteriors in Trimble Sketchup. For me that program is easier than Blender. I don't like using Blender, but passing the model to one already created by TSC is something else
That's done by scripting out nodes, as outlined by NEC: how much do you understand about how the game's files work together?
I only know how to paint the Locomotives and wagons but not the nodes, where can I find that Tutorial
I think I found help with the video I found. The problem is that it uses Blender but I can create the model of the exterior using Sketchup and bring it to Blender, but I don't know what size to use to fit the locomotive that I want to put on it model
I'd like to remove the 3rd rail shoes and some parts for my Class 318 reskins (actually a Class 455 reskin), and I did try to do a script, but to no avail. AP Class 318's out anyway so no great big deal (You can't add a pantograph recess on a Class 455 anyway)
