Which trains have you driven the most miles on? And which ones are in the back seats? And does that really reflect your experience? Post your Top5 and Least5!

    Top 5:
    BR112.1DB
    BR403DB
    Class 43 HST
    BR406DB
    BR185.2DB

    Least 5:
    Class101 BLG
    BR1442 Talent 2MD
    BR363DB
    CTC-3
    CT97Peninsula

My favorite trains are actually different...

    Most Driven:
    1. BR Class 377 (ECW/BML) - 282,19 miles
    2. BR Class 395 (SEHS) - 172,16 mi
    3. BR Class 387 (BML) - 128,49 mi
    4. DB BR 143 (German routes) - 128,48 mi
    5. BR Class 166 (GWE) - 76,8 mi
As expected, British EMUs dominate my most driven trains, and they are pretty much my favourite trains so it is expected. What i did not expect is for the 387 to rank so high, considering i dont drive the Gatwick Express services very often. Probably because of BML being a very long line and most GX services running the full length of it. And also i did not expect the 166 to be at that spot, considering GWE is among my least played routes. I thought the LIRR M7 would be among my most used ones, as i played a lot of LIRR in the past (i am probably the only one who likes LIRR xd).

    Least Driven:

    1. Class 08 BLU (NTP) - 0,01 miles
    2. LMS Stanier 8F (SoS) - 0,02 mi
    3. DB BR 363 (RSN) - 0,53 mi
    4. MP15DC (PC) - 1 mi
    5. AC4400CW (SPG) - 1,28 mi
On the other end, the ones i find least interesting - shunting and freight only locos. Very predictable too, altough i never expected such low usage on the Class 08 lol - i guess i mostly used the Class 09 from WSR. The CT97 gallery car from Peninsula Corridor shows i only drove 0.68 miles on it, but i think that record isnt accurate so i didnt include it on the list.

    Most Driven:
    1. BR Class 45 (NTP, WSR and WCL combined) 2143 miles
    2. BR Class 47 (NTP, WSR and WCL combined) 1945 miles
    3. BR Class 37 (TVL, WSR and WCL combined) 1939 miles
    4. BR Class 20 ( TVL and WSR combined) 984 miles
    5. BR Class 40 (NTP and WSR combined) 672 miles

    Least driven:
    1. CSX SD40-2, CSX GP38-2, CSX AC4400CW, DB BR 442 Talent 2 and DB BR 406 ICE 3M are in join last place with 0 yes 0 miles.
    2. BR Class 375 (SEHS) 12 miles as it was the same old electrostar run and got bored halfway through
    3. BR Class 387 (BML) 31 miles as well it's an electrostar so boring and I only now drive the few 66 services on BML.
    4. BR Class 377 (BML and ECW combined) 52 miles because you guessed it... electrostars are boring and I only do the 66 runs on both these routes.
    5. LU 1972 mk2 stock (BKL) 86 miles because the route at this time is a bit dull but nothing against the unit itself.

Just so you know all of the mileages have been rounded to nearest whole number.

Sorry just to be clear because this site won’t always let me edit? Least favourite trains are anything that hasn’t been used on British railways. British railways are where it’s at for me so it’s nothing personal against other countries. Even a none UK built or designed train which has been used in the UK will be of interest.
