I do think that having the Zürich S-Bahn as a DLC in TSW 4 would be great. However, the entire S-Bahn would be a bit too much which sits at 380km (240 miles). I would definitely like having Winterthur to Zürich HB. Via Oerlikon through the 3 paths: Zürich Flughafen, Wallisellen and Kloten. As well as via Stadelhofen. However, due to the nature and the various routes you can take to get point to point it's rather difficult to get a point to point route from end to end. But if you really wanted, you could follow the S7, all the way to Rapperswil - But I think it might just be a bit too long. Additionally to the very cool part about the section of route I've said is that you can basically go anywhere from Winterthur on the same train. Because at Oerlikon, there are 3 different tunnels that go to Zürich HB. A really good video for a very interesting bit of information on the whole network. It also explains more about the tunnels. There are also lots of cabrides on YT.
I do agree that the whole network would be too much, I mainly want to see RABe 511, RABe 514, Re 450 with double-decker carriages and maybe RABe 526 (III). The route itself is not too important to me but still want something nice.
If I could choose one of these S-Bahn lines, I would like to have a route along the Lake Zürich (either north or south side). I missed a bit of more lake scenery on S-Bahn Vorarlberg.
How about the Bahnstrecke Zürich Baden Basel Bözbergstrecke includes two marshalling yards Rangierbahnhof Zürich Limmattal & Basel Muttenz
This'd be a dream route, I will not rest till either that comes to fruition or I just become a driver myself.
I agree but there is a problem with Rangierbahnhof Zürich Limmattal it's the Hump track 693/696 in the actual SBB diagram you would see that written as an Ablaufberg. DTG needs to be invited by SBB to Rbf Limmattal on how the hump works. If you look at the new Austrian route in Salzburg it's the same situation that Salzburg Gnigl runs with a hump. This one is underneath a road bridge.
