What is the procedure for german speed restrictions, when there is ZS3 light with speed restriction applied - lets say 6, and another one is permanent plate LF7 - 16. Does the permanent speed indicator override zs3 light speed restriction? Can I start accelerate just after LF7 (after pzb stops guarding?) As for now I assume ZS3 is override by LF7.
The Zs 3 restriction is only valid from the signal to the end of the area being guarded. Typically that means you can dismiss the Zs 3 once your train has cleared a set of points or something similar. A Lf 7 is simply maximum permitted line speed. The lowest of any currently given speed is the speed which you must follow. In other words, if you pass a signal showing a Zs 3 '6' indication and then subsequently pass an Lf 7 '16' board, you may only accelerate up to 160km/h once your train has cleared the area guarded by the 60km/h restriction. This is of course assuming that your train is allowed up to 160km/h at all. Cheers
Does it usually mean passing next green aspect without zs3? (or double green distant ? ) I drive HUDless so no cheating on speedo
Next main signal should work. Time to beat the dead horse again: It’s EBuLa that tells you when you can speed up again (or route knowledge). The end of the points-area is marked with a [¥] symbol.
