PS4 Zusatzlicht Confusion

    Hello everyone

    I frequently notice odd Zusatzlicht aspects on German routes. This is no major issue, but knowing the "real thing" from experience, every wrong Zusatzlicht makes my eye twitch a few times :D And hurts immersion. Although the rules on its use are actually very easy.

    Anyway, I'm talking about the little white light on the top or bottom left of Ks signals or H/V Vorsignals (distant signals) which is called Zusatzlicht (additional light, examples see below). It can have two mutually exclusive meanings:
    1. This distant signal's corresponding main signal is significantly nearer than normal braking distance
    2. This isn't a distant signal, but a banner repeater (Vorsignalwiederholer).
    With the older H/V signals, both types are always shown in addition to the distant aspect, and both types on the top left (if applicable to the set route). (See Signalbuch, Ril 301.0201 Part 1 paragraph (14) and (16)).

    With Ks signals, the following applies (see Ril 301.0102 part 1 paragraph (3) and (4)):
    • Type 1 is shown on the top left , type 2 on the lower left (if applicable to the route)
    • Both are turned on only if a restrictive aspect is displayed (yellow Ks 2 or flashing green Ks 1 with Zs 3v).
    • The Zusatzlicht is always off on steady green aspects, and on danger.
    What I've seen on my last few days with TSW3 1.45 on PS4:
    • On Bremen-Oldenburg, I haven't seen a single H/V Vorsignalwiederholer (banner repeater) with Zusatzlicht. All of them should have it lit.
    • On Munich-Augsburg, driving the S-Bahn out of Munich Hackerbrücke, most Ks signals wrongly have always-on type 1 Zusatzlicht. It should be turned off on steady green aspects.
    • Also on Munich-Augsburg, the Vorsignalwiederholer (banner repeaters) properly display lower-left Zusatzlicht on Ks 2 and turn it off on steady Ks 1, but wrongly also turn it off on flashing green Ks 1 with Zs 3, where it should stay lit.
    I hope it'll be possible to correct this in a patch, as those routes aren't the flagships of TSW3. I also hope this can be corrected centrally and it's not necessary to touch every single signal ...
