The signed line limit is 120, but the PZB signal speed (which the track monitor never reflects) is 100.
The signed line limit is 100, because the signs (Lf6 in advance, Lf7 when you reach here) say 10. And you can very well see that it is so a couple meters after the fake 120 even in the HUD. When coming in the other direction, there is only a Lf7 indicating the correct 13, up from 100kmh, because the two speeds on both sides of the change are 100 and 130. 120 is, in this instance, nothing. What even is a "PZB signal speed"?
Hooray, finally we have the missing advanced signal making an appearance It has actually taken more then two years to get fixed... and the way I understand it, it was not even fixed by DTG but by TSG (even though prabably the same people), as they are preparing this route for their loco add on. Anyway, this was probably one of the biggest annoyances I had with this route. Thanks to TSG for fixing it!
What about the changes to the Rhine river water mentioned in the patch notes? Has anyone taken a look at that already? I‘m very pleased to hear about the trackside scenery changes on the approach to Mainz. I remember that particular little section from the preview stream, it really stood out to me as the worst bit of scenery on the entire route.
Well this definitely looks better than what we used to have at this enbankement! Also I noticed lens flare from the sun? Was this ever a thing in TSW before? Is it for this route only? I didn't notice it on Zwolle-Groningen yesterday.
I actually thought i was hallucinate when i saw that. And the fact that allegedly TSG stuff did this (which i would absolutely believe) leaves a bitter taste in my mouth regarding DTGs attitude. When questions arise for problems regarding the Expert Timetable the simple answer is "their problem, we dont bother to do anything with it". Its still DTGs Game after all, shouldn't it be in their first interest to get those stuff ironed out ? Its the same stuff as quite annoyed answers to viewers when they point out obvious problems during the preview streams.... Not sure about this attitude but happy i can finally leave Uhlerborn in Koblenz direction without the chance of unprovoked spad
Just got this route on ps sale and already 4 issues 1.all change scenario is broken because you get held at ingelheim heading west at signal closet to the station. This only happens if you save at Mainz hbf and resume from there though. 2. Resuming after save causes the reverser to disappear and make it so you cannot change direction or take it out. 3. The route happing point it rotated 4. Missing catenary wires heading west out of heildsheim and at st goar station at platform 1. And also at werlau siding heading east. Apart from this though I quite like the route and think it’s good.
I believe this was not caused by the new railtour pack/timetable: all the 500hz magnets trigger emergency braking, even is you stay below the maximum allowed speed (for testing, I got an emergency brake application at 20kph). Anyone else? To me, this route is unplayable as things stand.
Just want to point out that after over two years, the BR 110 STILL cannot be painted in Livery Designer below halfway down the body. Somebody at DTG is asleep at the switch (And my blue/ivory and cobalt blue versions remain rudimentary)
Missing signal, Koblenz Hbf: There is a signal halfway up Platform 1 Or at least, one exists in the invisible mathematical world the sim operates in. In the visible 3D modeled world, it isn't there: I had to learn this the hard way, with much screeching and hissing.
PS5 Pro I don't know if this happens to you too, but when leaving the seat in a Cabcar or BR110, I often get up and stand somewhere through the roof, and I can't always get out of it. It's very unpleasant......
Well... kinda, it turns out it does exist... its just burried inside the platform! I suspect this is a case of the signal was placed, and then the station model was created and plonked ontop and nobody noticed the signal had be burried.
Had a beautiful ride down the rhine valley yesterday and used the DBBR 103 with Intercity coaches with a 1997 timetable. I noticed that the Avmz 207 was not correctly modelled, with the rear end lights and the doors being my biggest issue as well as the interior, which is the post 2010 one. Is there anything planned? This is how the Avmz 207 should look like https://www.jernhesten.dk/forbillede/DB/Personvogne/resultat.asp?quest=Avmz-207-1&selskab=DB It appears that this Avmz 207 is the very same used with Mittenwaldbahn. Why hasn't it been corrected for the later released Mittenwaldbahn? Others than that I really enjoy these retro routes, in parts more than present day ones. Kind regards.
Its one of the 1989 ish modifications to the Avmz 207 (photo is dated 1991) https://blogger.googleusercontent.c...FjZJ4ocl875jjU/s1600/24_Avmz207_DB2-91017.jpg its perfectly valid for 1997
I would venture because remodeling coaches is a time-consuming, labor-intensive business. For Mittenwaldbahn TSG had already gone for a complete overhaul of the B and AB n-Wagen, reverting them to their pre-refurb condition inside and out, as well as reworking the 111. Doing more than a reskin with the IC-Wagen however would have been to an extent superfluous, since they shouldn't be on the route at all (except as AI at Innsbruck); they're standing in as substitutes for the proper coaches, which don't exist yet in TSW. At a guess, down the road Mittenwald will be amended to use the correct carriages, once they have been made. As for why not redone for LFR '84, where they do belong: it's a gameplay pack, which already included a new coach built from scratch and a backdated 218: how much higher do you think it could have been priced? Besides, they're a layer, and layered rolling stock has to be "borrowed" as-is.
Thanks for the reply DominusEdwardius , you're absolutely correct with the statement that they were fitting into the year of 1997. However, the connector, or better "Gummiwulstübergang, was a different one These coaches were modified in the late 1980s to be used for the HSL Wurzburg to Hannover. In order to have no issues when two trains meet in the tunnels (sound boom) they received new windows, doors and the Gummiwulstübergang, as the standard version wasn't suitable. Here's how they looked like: https://www.reisezugwagen.eu/?p=9956 Here on the real coach: https://www.bahnbilder.de/bilder/vo...en-alten-muenchen-nuernberg-express-aus-.webp The combination of old connector and new rear lights and doors never existed. Also, with the modifications the coaches were reassigned to Avmz 107: https://www.die-zugfolgestelle.de/cgi-bin/bild.cgi?bild=2881061 This only lasted about 15 years until they were modified once more and lost that odd Gummiwulstübergang, changing the designation once more to Avmz 108.1 - with the ICMod modifications they were finally assigned as Avmmz 106.1. In conclusion the coach is unfortunately not correct, no matter what viewpoint is used. It's a visual model that in this manner never existed. Finally, everything else is magnificent and I truly respect and appreciate the efforts, hence why I purchased them outside the sales for a normal price. Please, do have a look into this to make the final piece in this jigsaw perfect. Kind regards
You see solicitr I love this Addons, otherwise I wouldn't have bought them in the first place. But, shouldn't it be considered a hint to an error, rather than - as your post seemingly implies - "demand"? It's not unappreciative when it is something that never existed, but trying to help. I really love the Umbauwagen, the Silberlinge, the 218 and 628. And I really appreciate that the inscription of the 218 was corrected. Kind regards
Mainz Hbf, platform 2. This issue is getting out of hand lately, appearing on most newer routes from the start, as well as older routes it hasn't appeared before. Never encountered it on Linke Rheinstrecke until a couple of weeks ago. DTG, please look into this and try fixing it sooner than later. It's very unsettling and off-putting.
