I thought this might be useful if anyone else gets stuck at a red towards the end of this scenario on SEHS extended heading towards Dartford station, as I just experienced on the PS5. There's a 465 sat at a green light in the station waiting to depart on the down line which is causing the red. I walked a fair distance into the station and jumped in the 465's cab. The AI driver was sat there with no key in so it wasn't going anywhere fast! Whilst standing I put the key in, set the reverser and banged the throttle up to max before jumping back out sharpish. Off it went like a scalded cat and I walked back to my distant train just as the 66 also snarled up in front of me went past, clearing the line. I could then finish the scenario and not lose the 9.5k XP I'd amassed. Happy days
Hahahaha that's brilliant, I play on ps4 and haven't had this glitch but that's problem solving right there.
I just used that tip to complete the scenario! Thank you. Clearly the game is meant to drive the 465 out but doesn't
Wanted to try this, but seems it got fixed now. No 465 in Dartford. Probably a timetable layer that had nothing to do in a scenario.
I just discovered this problem while playing on ps5 and done what you said to do. And it worked exactly as you said cheers.
This is an old thread butni may try this when I get home just for sh1ts & giggles haha although i don't recall having a problem previously, this is the class 66 scenario where you take a load to hoo, move wagons about and bring some back if I remember?
A big thank you from me, whitey#4272, also. I also became stuck at that red light yesterday and as I am relatively new to TSW was getting annoyed at knowing how to resolve it. I had looked at the map and realised that another AI Class 66 train was in my path, but following your lead I was able to finish the scenario. Cheers.
For me I had a class 66 in the way, but it won't let me delete it or get in the driver's seat, it says I don't have permission. I can interact with the controls but sadly they won't let me release the brakes and the loco computer thinks the engine isn't started when I can hear it. Can't even shove it out the way due to SPAD ending the scenario. How was you able to take control of the train? Scratch all that ^... Okay so I was getting confused, I had a class 66 in the way but at the sidings, not at the station, right at the station I also had a class 465 in the way on platform 4, once I went there and put the key in and put the reverser to forward it brought to life the platform announcements they all played at once lmao. Then the AI wouldn't move the train because the doors opened when I moved the reverser not me the AI opened them, once I had closed all doors and slammed the throttle forward, the train moved, passed the class 66 then the class 66 could move through Dartford station and then my light turned double yellow, so I could stop at Dartford platform 1 and then go back into the sidings. So it seems this bug still is present. The sad thing is I have to redo the scenario because I only got a gold medal pretty sure due to it taking 3 hours in total lmao because of this glitch and trying to solve it. Nvm you can only get gold. I just redid it and got 11,450 the gold is 8,400.
