If ever there was a need for a (permanent) temporary speed restriction this realignment of the down fast at Slade is one. British Ace spend a good minute analysing that piece of track on his Manchester Voyager video on YouTube today as the sudden jolt wasn’t pleasant. I don’t know why they got the alignment wrong in the first place but as you say it’s better than trains colliding although it’s not the most elegant fix.
Not personally been over that piece of track yet, but saw it BAces stream, and yes, it's not good at all - needs to be sorted again really, along with the signalling issues mentioned above. Still a cracking route though.
Please re-do or remove announcements at Manchester Piccadilly! It only ever announces departures from Platforms 13 & 14, even then, not all. All you can hear is The next train at Platform x (x being 1-12) is for Manchester Piccadilly, calling at Manchester Piccadilly I've not heard departures for Euston, Bouremouth etc. Just Manchester Grrrrrrrrrrrrr I'm bloody well in Manchester Piccadilly for gawds sake
Haha that reminds me of when Thomas Cook went bust and the BBC had that utter [Deleted; language - DTG Harry] that it Simon Calder on for an interview, live from "Manchester Airport" when in-fact you could clearly see the station sign "Macclesfield" through the waiting room window behind him.
Played a couple of services on PS5 and the stuttering is so much worse than it was before the update. Really sad to see as this route was one of the best performers on PS5
Did they ever fix the issue of two parallel tracks having insufficient clearance, resulting in collisions?
They appear to have fixed it, but now the track layout is too sharp to be taken at 75mph. There's quite a jolt when you drive over it.
Not sure if this has been mentioned (don’t have time to read) but playing on pc when you take some Voyager services from Wilmslow it spawns you outside another station (East Didsbury). Had to fast travel and get into the train that way.

PS5 - some services when you try to play the voyager, you don't end up on train and at a random station, on foot, and no train to be seen. 1M22 you start outside of Alderley Edge for example (Other services do similar so not just this one)
Very short route, with plenty variety, some initial bugs were quickly ironed out, some still exist. 7/10 route.
Looks stunning, has two decent timetables, really busy route thats full of life… but it’s very small. Was priced appropriately unlike Cardiff though. I’d give it a 7.5, would’ve been an 8.5 if they’d got to Crewe.
Quite short but quality is excellent bar some bugs . Icing on the cake would be if it went to Crewe . I keep coming back to it .
PC Steam 4H04 at 10:53 PM. The flight starts immediately with a message that the flight has been cancelled; I've passed a red signal. It's impossible to pass.
PS5 After driving the interestingly routed Sunday 323 service 2H47 I came away with some signalling anomalies. Down Fast signal MP26 (Slade Lane Jct) Should there be approach control for this 75>45mph switch? Well, whatever, the junction indicator DF>DS does not light up. Down Slow signal MP307 (approaching MP) Inconsistent approach control. There is no approach control to this signal when the route selected is to platform 3 across DS>DF>DE (60>30mph turn out). Bizarrely, If you run 2N75 (GSMR says 2N73, what?) then you DO get approach control for the DS>DF switch for access to platform 11 along with strict TPWS. In both cases, without the HUD I’d have been in a world of trouble. Anyway, it’s my go to route and loving the new 323 announcements (including the 13th Nov core update’s unannounced improvements to the announciation of Levenshulme, Handforth and Heaton Chapel).
Suffering quite badly with blurry textures since the latest core/game update this week. I don’t recall it being this bad before. (Xbox Player)
