Dtg Train Simulator Corrupted Update For 2026.

I´ve noticed this to. Also some routes take forever to open since the update. We arrived at a stable version 1 or 2 years ago and now they are breaking stuff for no reason.

 

What is kind of funny is that a few years of when I started playing Train Simulator, after so many complaints of broken scenarios, DLC not working, scoring issues and other assorted problems, DTG asked everyone to send in all the known issues so they could compile a working list of problems. They only fixed a few things then quietly abandoned the program.

 

It's important for folks to keep giving their opinions on this sim. It shows DTG that there is still many people out there that enjoy this sim. While I'm on the content creator side of things with TSC, I don't see the scenario problems as I'm more into world building then driving a train. I can say while this sim has been around for a long time, it's seem to be one of the few trains sims to have a good world editor. While TSC's competition has made it harder for the causal content creator, this sim is pretty simple to create in...once you get over it's first frustrating learning curves. Keep letting DTG know of the problems and hopefully there will be a fix someday.

Yes you can play the sim without logging into steam. Steam will run in offline mode for 14 days without logging into it then require you to log in. Don’t want updates to happen go into steams setting and turn automatic updates off stops games updating and you force them manually.
There is an easy way as well to have a back up installed that you can force steam to switch to without affecting your main install and one that don’t require you to manually move files around either.
