Am I missing something??? My GWE is still the same as it has always been, well a few improvements... Where can I spend some money and get the new that everyone is raving about? IE the underground etc?????????

With the Turbo should the interlock light not light with doors closed as opposed to open?

I dont know on that but I would have thought so. There are a few trains that the windows dont open.

 

To be fair to me then, it's actually the person I was replying to who named the wrong company (which nobody picked up on when they said it?) They said Firefly Studios. Why would I have known any different?

They done a pretty decent job on this when you have play into it. Drayton Green visible on the map & Visible from the back of Plazer Works ( West Eailing Sidings ) could thw Greenford Branch be on the cards at a later date with the BR-Class 150 ?

 

This remaster is tremendous!!

 

This remaster is fantastic stuff. I’ve played nothing else since it updated and it’s just a joy. The few issues I’ve seen after many runs have all been said above or in the feedback thread (and acknowledged) so nothing to add to that. Well done to Liam and everyone else involved, it’s a tremendous result.

No. But it adds extra gameplay. Island line 2022 and WCML are especially recommended

What runs to platform 5 at Hayes.

 

Definitely keep an eye out for sales. I only had a few more left and some happened to be on sale. I didn’t want to wait for the others so I picked up the 4 or 5 that I was missing otherwise I would’ve waited for some sales. Still runs without them but looks best with the full service timetables.

 

There are a few DLCs that add a lot more value than others. Island line 2022 and WCML South are most important. Quite a lot of add ons only provide hardly seen short services or AI scenery only.

I got the Tyne Tees but no 101 offered? and the SouthEastern High Speed but get nothing at all offered apart form whats in GWE

 

This is true. More important to find the ones that are actually used in the route than the “nice to haves” that impact the AI traffic only.

 

If you want to drive a 101 on GWE you need to buy the Diesel Legends of the Great Western add on

 

Even though i have the class 484 (island line 2022) and the 350 (WCML) they are not showing up on my drivable option screen. Anyone else having this issue. everything thing else is working fine and really enjoying the remaster.

 

Are you on PS5? I had this too when al layers were installed. Deleting mildmay (and I believe the class 37) solved this for me

 

PS5. So it happened to me, but I have a feeling it won't be just Mildmay and Class 37, for a while it felt like roulette to me ........ and also with Class 47 (Nigt services) I only had 3 playable services and maybe after installing DLC 86-2 all 6 services are showing up for me ... it's an interesting mystery

 

this part could actually be like it's supposed to be. It uses different coaches on some services.

Something's seriously amiss with the game when players have to play musical chairs or even delete whole route and loco layers just to be able to play it as intended.

 

As usual with DTG, no useful documentation is available - plenty of hype, but no detailed information. One of the layers is described as 'SWT Services - Midland Main Line'. I own Midland Main Line and the layer is enabled, but since the rolling stock is not stated, I assume it would be either class 43 or class 158. Class 158 does not appear in the timetable and class 43 is represented only by GWR versions. Can anyone tell me what I should see and where/when (AI maybe?)
A more general question I have relates to seasonal rolling stock appearances. What action do I take to have them appear?

If the route still looks the same it sounds like you haven't received / downloaded the update yet. The remaster isn't just extra layers and traffic, the entire route has been visually upgraded and looks nothing like the original route.

Yes, but the vast majority of services are from the HST and 166/5, which came with the original route. The freight stuff is all 66 worked too, which I think may have come with the original.. or will have come with another add-on you have.

The next most important layer for gameplay might be the upcoming 387 pack!

 

Yeah there’s 20+ layers for this, but I’d say less than 5 make up 90% of the traffic. The 387 that’s coming will probably be a decent addition for traffic too, it’ll be a regular in & out of Paddington which will have a knock on effect for every other service due to platform use.

 

Yeah I think the Island Line 2022 484 might be the most intensive actually!

 

Yeah I’d personally focus on that & the cargo line packs. I’m not sure which 66 gets used though but if someone can nail that down I’d recommend it.

Eveything else is nice to have & adds the nice odd spot but every other train is going to be freight, underground or the included GWR stock.

 

Yes, I'd find which actual trains or stock they refer to much more useful, as opposed to the usual guessing game.
