    Hi all,

I moved TSW to another drive currently and made a complete new Installation. Since then I get Unreal Engine Crashes and TSW shuts down always at the same Situations. For example when aproaching the second stop after Hagen Hbf in Rhein Ruhr Osten. Or when switching the Cab on the BR182 at Ruhr Sieg Nord. And several more. Can anybody help with that? Thanks alot.

The log file says the following:

    LowLevelFatalError [File:F:\Dev\TSW_RC\Engine\Source\Runtime\RenderCore\Private\RenderingThread.cpp] [Line: 798]
    Rendering thread exception:
    LowLevelFatalError [File:F:\Dev\TSW_RC\Engine\Source\Runtime\Windows\D3D11RHI\Private\D3D11Util.cpp] [Line: 182]
Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')

I have not personally myself seen this, but would suggest you log a support ticket with all of this info including a dxdiag as well.

This used to happen to me on a continual basis with an NVidia card, what GPU do you have?
Since changing to AMD I can't put into words how stable It is.

Same here since switching from NVidia to AMD GPU things have been very stable and enjoyable for me as well.

Yes if you google Graphics Card problems, 100% of the time it's Nvidia, and a lot of really silly errors which not even Nvidia know what the cause is. Simply bad chipsets; I am guessing, and it's not temperature it's a timing issue, the clocks on the processors are poor at responding and the memory cache doesn't offload properly. OMSI even now runs like a charm, no more out of memory issues.

AMD however. Not a scratch, games that were giving me seriously bad FPS and even minor programs would cause issues, it's like I've got a new monitor, as even the colour is clearer.

Sorry to rant lol, it's been about 2 years of headaches and not having the funds to change.

No worries on the ranting, I was in a similar situation and can understand where you are coming from. When I had my Nvidia I myself was frustrated with it's perfromance. Then I switched to Radeon RX 570 with 8gb ram and things were so much better.

Just to balance the discussion a bit, let me note that I have used Nvidia graphics cards exclusively for more than 25 years and have yet to experience any problems with them.

Yes I researched all but couldn't take the risk, 25 years - yes about the same for me.
