Hello folks, This is the feedback thread for the July 9th 2026 update for Train Sim World 6. Have you noticed a change in performance? Are there any particular highlights for you? Does the changelog properly reflect the fixes you've received? Is there anything listed as fixed that is still appearing for you? When providing feedback, please always add the following details if possible: Platform (i.e.: PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One) Service/Scenario played when the issue occurred. Repeatability. How often does this issue occur? Images/Videos of the issue occurring Specific Fix listed in the changelog related to the issue you're reporting All the best, Jan
I take it Scotrail 158 isn’t part of this update as it was mentioned at the end of July what roughly was coming into this patch reference is underneath TSW Next Core Patch - Coming Next Week (Early July) Hey folks - very quick update from me, we made a note in our patch last week that our next update was shifted from June 30th (today) into early July. I just wanted to make sure that this was clear to everyone, and what the goals of this update are. Cargo Line Vol 1 Petroleum Cargo Line Vol 2 Aggregates Cargo Line Vol 3 Intermodal Cargo Line Vol 4 Military Cargo Line Vol 5 Nuclear DB BR 218 Expert DB BR 101 ScotRail BR Class 158 Fife Circle Line & Levenmouth Rail Link Edinburgh - Glasgow Edinburgh - Glasgow: Engineering Express Pack
Good to see new services, more of that please! And nice to see the magic tunnel of Rheinland-Pfalz is no more.
Big question for the "Liberec - Stara Paka" route. As far as I remember there were one or multiple uncompletable scenarios. The one that comes into mind was the one with the 750 where the objective marker was spawning haywire. It does not appear in the patch notes as a highlighted item, either in the route or the 750 section, so can we assume it is not fixed in this round? And holy <censored> there are many minor updates that noone really nitpicky would notice for the route. Glad they are doing something about the crossings.
The patch notes mention that the Scotrail Class 170 has had guard mode added, except it already had guard mode...
"The Class 158 is not used because adding it would remove gameplay from players who only own Fife Circle. Substitution with the Class 170 is not an option because the 158 has two carriages, and the 170 has three." What?? Since when did you guys care about if people don't have dlc for a route. The class 158 runs on in this route in real life, so your taking gameplay away from everyone. Brain-dead decision, unless I'm not reading it right you have stuck two fingers up to Skyhook and said thanks for making the 158 but we ain't gonna bother putting it in!
I think this is a bit of an extreme reaction. The ScotRail Class 158 already comes with its own Fife Circle timetable, which is far from perfect to be fair, but that is Skyhook’s fault unfortunately. If they added the 158 to the new default Fife timetable, two bad things would happen: The service frequency would be ruined by huge gaps for everyone that doesn’t own the 158, and a major selling point of the 158 DLC — its own Fife timetable — would essentially be made moot. I guess the best solution would’ve been to add two variations of the new timetable (one with the 158, and one without), but I can definitely see why DTG/Rivet went with the decision they ended up taking.
Yes, exactly as was done for East Coastway. The principle is exactly the same, so I don't understand why that wasn't done here too.
After reading the patch notes, I must say I’m quite happy. I had huge expectations for the Edinburgh-Glasgow and Fife Circle updates, and the fact that they came with new timetables is a very cool surprise. I’ve never been super interested in the ScotRail Class 158, now I don’t have to buy that add-on just to enjoy additional rolling stock on both routes. The various improvements to the Cadder Depot/Yard area have me very intrigued. According to Google, this is where they maintain the ScotRail HSTs. Maybe we’ll finally see the HST add-on for those routes that was teased a while back? I would certainly be very interested in such a DLC, now that both routes have received a fresh lick of paint. On another note, I didn’t see a fix for the Class 385 wipers not wiping away the rain in the patch notes. I hope that has been taken care of nonetheless.
So because the blurryness issue isn't fixed I'm guessing console users will now have blurry textures on the Scottish routes because of the new timetables. So break what already works for us. Fun fun. And where are the core updates nothing has been a core update with anynof these patches. So I guess blurry textures won't be fixed before TSW7 or for TSW7 for that matter even though it was promised in December it would be fixed before then. Priority my butt.
Does this mean service EZK 53387 hasn't been fixed/removed? Because both services suffer from the same issue. Only removing one seems kind of weird?
Good afternoon folks, You may have noticed that the patch notes have been updated since their original release this morning. This is due to new information that came to our attention regarding some changes that were not included in the first version of the change log. We apologise for any confusion this may have caused. The change log is now finalised and includes all the changes that will be part of tomorrow’s patch. All the best, Jan
I would like to repeat the question as regard to the impossible to complete scenario on Stara Paka. Aswell as to point out that if the Stara Paka route developers are able to correct incorrect superelevation issues on their route why can other developers including DTG/Rivet/Just Trains to name a few, not do the same?
Could you please first fix the bugs present since the June 17th update? I am referring to the person-hit-by-train incident on Platform 6 at Harrow Station in WCMLS (where three people are stuck and permanently visible) and the issue of people crossing the tracks from Platform 5.
Just updated my game to load into FCC, and got booted to dashboard immediately. No out of memory issues. Just booted.
They haven't sorted out the west Cornwall local 150 it still doesn't couple upto the other units in game I have tried the 142 / GWR 150/ TFW 150/ TFW 153/ emt 158 / Scott rail 170
So what got changed with the BR 101 Expert and the BR 218? Those aren't on the list. And what's on the list, but missing here, is the rather large patch for Cargoline 5 Nuclear. Btw besides Preston - Crewe I own licenses to all DLC on the list and all are currently installed.
"Substitution with the Class 170 is not an option because the 158 has two carriages, and the 170 has three." Why is this an issue? iirc all the platforms on the route fit a 3-car unit, what's stopping substitution of 1x 3-car 170 for both 2- and 4-car 158 consist? The only reason I can think of is that limitations mean substitution of a 2x 158 service mean the 170 substitution will also be doubled up, therefore 6 carriages long and therefore start causing issues. But otherwise I genuinely don't see wht this couldn't be implemented. The argument that 158 pack comes with its own TT falls apart now that, cool, this DLC I've paid for now gives me a TT that's not up to date with the base one. Just doesnt make sense to me...
Hey there, what kind of Xbox are you using? We've seen two more mentions of this happening on Xbox Series S consoles. Is this only occuring on Fife Circle and Edinburgh Glasgow or on other routes that didn't receive changes in today's patch? Still chasing this at the moment. It looks like Expert DB BR 101 and BR 218 were included in the patch while Cargo Line Vol. 5: Nuclear wasn't. Likely a case of miscommunication, as soon as we know more we will change the patch notes.
Not shocked that the broken signal on Waverley approach in Fife Circle (think E482 is number) is still broken. Been like that since day one, although it's always worked on E2G.
No announcements still on the 158 for the Fife Sprinter Timetable. How was missed? Also blurry textures both inside and outside the 158
If I remember correctly, this is a purely technical limitation. The game needs two identical formations to make substitution work; e. g. two 4-car multiple units (not sure if they both need the same propulsion/traction type), two consists with 4 passenger wagons and a loco each, etc. You unfortunately can’t substitute three coupled 2-car units with two coupled 3-car units. The game can’t handle it, plus there would be issues with e. g. coupling/uncoupling instructions.
Enjoying the improvements to E2G and Fife Circle! I notice that the audio doesn't change if you drive "head out" (<- button on PC/Steam) - it sounds like you're still inside the cab, sadly. Hitting <- again to get the head-out view on the right-hand side of the cab does have the correct audio, however.
Platform: PC BR Class90 When the window is opened in the cab, the volume of the Bogies-joint becomes very low When the window is opened in the cab, the volume of the MainCompressor becomes very low During braking, the sound effect of brake shoes rubbing against the wheels is not audible When towing a train, there is significant forward and backward impulse in the cab during acceleration or braking The brake handle cannot be operated after the key has been inserted, and it only becomes effective after a reversing operation. It should be changed to allow the brake handle to be operated after the key is inserted Please remove the traction lock thanks
Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn: Mannheim – Kaiserslautern Fixed lighting in the tunnel near Frankenstein appearing too bright Check it again, nothing changed, still daylight in the tunnel. The buttons of the instrumentlights of the BR218 DB version to be fixed! Thanks JTG
I can’t see Cargo Line Vol. 5 – Nuclear been updated on the ps5 from today’s update. It seems to be missing, everything else is there from today’s update
Hey folks, After reviewing the patch notes and your feedback it has become apparent that there are some inaccuracies on what is and isn't included in the patch. I will update the notes to reflect the actual changes as soon as I can, but Cargo Line Vol. 5 was not included in the patch, despite being listed. With patch notes coming from several groups both internally and externally, somewhere some wires got crossed. This isn't ideal and shouldn't happen, so we apologies for this. Once the notes have been updated we will let you know. Please note that this only affects the patch notes, the actual content of today's patch remains unchanged. All the best, Jan
