the brighton mainline is probably the #1 candidate for a remaster, but given we’ve been told a million times over that the route’s foundation looks something like this it’s very unlikely. what i propose is the entire route being rebuilt from scratch, as some of the scenery is quite shoddy and the elephant in the room is the tod3 lighting, especially at night. it’s borderline unplayable compared to the newer routes which is a shame as it was my favourite route for a long long time. i’m not going to suggest an extension towards london bridge, as that might be asking too much but at the very least the whole route need a major refresh including a new timetable
I agree with this as it’s a great route but I went to play it the other day and thought wait… what is the point it’s not as good anymore. A remaster would be great another good remasters (I’d love just trains to do these) TVL, NTP (needed most tbh) & WCL.
As I mentioned in another thread, there are bugs—such as missing traffic lights. It would be perfect if those issues were fixed. It’s a route that really gives you the feeling of traveling in the UK.
Sometimes I can hardly believe myself how long it’s been since the Rush Hour edition with major updates was released. But yeah, I'm fully in favor of it! There has to be a solution for this just look at the Leipzig–Dresden a core route in TSW6; think of how many times they’ve rebuilt the Riesa–Dresden section. It would be great if they could do the same with the Brighton Main Line, but this time covering the entire route all the way to London Bridge! The extension to London Bridge would make it possible to run full services using Class 700s from thameslink, since these operate only between Brighton and London Bridge rather than to London Victoria. An option for the Class 455/8 would also be desirable, even though they have long since been withdrawn from real-world service.
