This is my fourth remaster suggestion but I think it's relatively clear why Expansion - Tees Valley Line Remastered | Dovetail Games Forums Expansion - Spirit Of Steam Remaster | Dovetail Games Forums Expansion - Northern Trans Pennine Extended And Remastered | Dovetail Games Forums I don't own the BML yet but I think I know enough about it to consider it worthy or being remastered. BML: - Covers 50 miles of track from London Victoria to Brighton - Small spur from Redhill to Reigate providing extra 2 miles - Included motive power: SN Class 377/4, GX Class 387/2 - Can only get Thameslink service through a mod - Route is set in 2018 Layers (that I'm aware of): - Class 66 - SN Class 313 - SE Class 375 - Static 09 at Brighton - GWR Class 43 HST at Clapham Jn (unrealistic for 2018) - I think there's a railtour layer for the Class 33 but am unsure Pros: - Busy timetable, especially with the Class 377/4 (more than 1000 playable services alone) - Presence of GWR services for the North Downs line - Class 313 layer - Entire BML included Cons: - Mediocre scenery and lighting - Only one 377 variant present - HST layers at Clapham being unrealistic for set year - Lack of LO layers at Clapham and Battersea - Lack of Thameslink services - Lack of other 377 variants present (/2 and /3) Proposals for improvements: - Upgrades to scenery and lighting - Completely overhaul scenery at Reigate due to it being infamously completely wrong - Add layers for the other 377 variants (/2 and /3) - Add all the ECW remaster layers at Brighton (SN Class 171, GWR Class 150) - Add LO services for the Mildmay and Windrush lines (North London and East London lines if you don't like the LO line names) - Remove the HST layers at Clapham. - If you own WCML South, like on GWE, reskin Class 350/1 into an unbranded stagecoach South West Trains livery for Ai only at Clapham Jn - If you own the MML, reskin the Class 158 into unbranded stagecoach South West Trains livery for Ai at Clapham Southern Class 455/8 and Gatwick Express Class 442: - We've seen that we can have two different operators in one pack from Rivet's WMR and XC 170 pack - We've seen that we can have two different Trains/locos from Rivet's SN 171 and 377/3 pack - Why not combine the two for a remaster of the BML - These two should come with a 2015 era timetable for the BML - The GX 442 doing the work of the 387/2 - The SN 455 working suburban service out of London Timetable layers in this new timetable: - Class 313 and 171 empty stock moves at Brighton - Class 66 for the freight services already represented - SWT (unbranded) and LO services at Clapham and Battersea - I'm not sure if the diverted SE services are necessary but I wouldn't be annoyed at their presence Thameslink services: On WCML South, if you own the LO Gospel Oak to Barking route, you get a free Class 710/3 to work along side the /2. If you own the original 700 add-on, and if DTG can sort out the 'memory issues', a 12car 700/1 should be included if you own the 700/0 add-on RECAP (if this 455 and 442 pack is made): - 2015 era timetable - Upgrades to scenery and lighting (especially at Reigate) - Layers for all other SN stock (some Ai only) - Reskinned 158 and 350 for SWT services (Ai only) - LO services (Ai only) - GWR Ai services at Brighton - 700/1 present if you own the original 700/0 add-on Done yapping
i’d be all for this but only once dtg sort out the game so that a bml remaster would release with customer confidence. for the 455/442 pack, the 377/1 should also be included to bolster the variety. and the branch off to hove could also be added to allow for the now obsolete shuttle service from brighton using the 313, as well as a few depot moves
