So if im using non expert wagons will still have to set up like you do if you are.

For the loco obviously yes, but you can then not do a proper brake check or do manual coupling…

similarly, and there will also be fun with brakes that won’t let you drive.
I am very unhappy with the digestive simulation!

It is not clear why I or anyone else who loves trains will spend time and energy solving the problems of scenario simulation + bug... this is just a X2 problem, especially not for train driver. people have been learning and practicing for years to at least master the real 145, for example.

ha, it’s been 2.5 years and Bernina’s route still has a couple of impassable scenarios without God mode (and if you know how to use them)...
And how good it is that I did a good job buying the game... as well as paying too much without a pack.

The bug you quoted by vmeck should be fixed in the patch that released a month or so ago, we do try to fix every issue that is reported to us or that we find ourselves! :)

If you have encountered other bugs with the scenarios please let us know and we will try to fix those as well. I am aware of two of the scenarios having too harsh score criteria for the platinum medal (Safety system tutorial and Expert. Simply Delivered) but if there are other issues I have missed them.

cwf.green Hi, sorry for the ping, but can you briefly explain how auxiliary compressor works on 145? It seems to work differently from 101, and there's no information on it anywhere. Manual and in-game tutorial do not mention it at all, and I couldn't find any information either here on the forums, or out on the internet.

At the moment, it feels like auxiliary compressor turns on when pantograph is up, MCB is open, and main screen shows that pressure is too low for MCB to be closed. But it doesn't turn on, when pantograph is down, so I do not understand, what am I supposed to do, if locomotive doesn't have enough air to raise the pantograph.

    Thanks in advance.

Battery has to be on, the "master key" to forward. Then a too low pressure activates the aux compressor.

Works fine for me. The 101 has the lss, which cuts out when pressure is reached for the panto and the HS.

hm, is it interesting when the acceleration/braking accelerometer of all types and types of vehicles are reversed in the game? or rather, from the third part of the game he shows everything in full. When braking sharply, the interface is tilted downward, although in the classic trailing simulator it worked correctly...

Is the PIS display working for you guys? No matter what code I enter, nothing shows up.

No there is a small bug but there is a very simple work around.... In the engine room is a PIS switch turn the PIS off and on again, it restarts and it will works again.

Is there any update on the 145 turning all cab sounds silent?
I would assume this has a high priority given it affects all routes as the 145 substitutes for most freight services.

Its already known but a patch cost a long time. It needs to be checked in QA and as you know that takes ages.

Yeah QA needs to get more efficient somehow.
Hopefully its just a hotfix and wont take as long as the E94 patch.
Seems like i will have to say goodbye to the 145 until then.

I experience the lever sounds missing within the cab, all sounds, etc are still present.
This issue is something that happens over time, so if I drive starting from Meissen, the sounds will dissapear around Dresden Pieschen. I don't remember passing any 145's before the sounds go missing. I think it's a thing that triggers without any other 145's being present.

Nah its the 145. I fluffed up trying to change mixes on an engine level, by that basically killing everything if the loco is not the player train and the occlusion helper takes over. I pushed a fix that changes my approach, only adding the MR soundclass to the current mix if needed on an actor level, but thats currently in the QA pipeline.

    Platform: PS5
    Scenario: Faulty Friday

The “Faulty Friday” scenario cannot be completed. In the middle of the scenario, you are asked to scroll down on the faults screen, but there are no faults listed and the scenario becomes stuck and cannot be advanced past that point. The workaround mentioned in the Expert 145 thread also does not work.

cwf.green says that a fix has been submitted to DTG, so hopefully we see that in a patch soon.

I posted a workaround in the trouble shooting steps & bug fixing status thread
It's a bit tricky since you are working "blind" but hopefully that will allow you to proceed until the patch has been released (though perhaps it is more enjoyable to wait until the scenario works correctly :D ).

Since the relrases of the expert line i never went back to normal traction. I hope tsg is going with a 3. Project for that.

I use 50/50 gameplay, eather selecting a timetable run or making my own free mode service in the timetable.

Made an event where i had to setup double traction at salzburg, going to freilassing and couple a 2700to tankertrain, including the full train preparation and brake calculation.
Then taking the consist to Rosenheim.

Took me 3.5 hours, one tanker car had shut off brakes, simulated that the lever cant be put in "G".
Also the second loco had an lls fault where all alarms went off, had to even restart the loco to continue.

Just wow the experience with the expert locos. Im sure players with immagination and use of free roam can use the full potential of the expert stock.

Looking forward to a 3rd loco / train and maybe an update of the 101 with the manual coupling.

I attempted the workaround but still couldn't progress past the "scroll down" instruction. The workaround instructions said to close the "LSS 0 V Signalausgabe" breaker when the scenario becomes stuck. I closed the breaker as soon as I was prompted to scroll down, but that didn't affect the ability to progress. I have also tried closing the breaker immediately after stopping the train, before I even touch the screen, but that didn't help either.

Your wording of "working blind" makes me think there are some steps that I am omitting. Is there perhaps a more specific set of actions I can execute to workaround this bug? Thanks for replying!

I thought I'd put this here instead of the Cargo Line 6 thread...
Just did service GC 59130 of the new Cargo Line pack with the 145 (Ludwigsbahn, standard timetable of course), and it gave me an empty Wagenliste as well as a half filled Bremszettel. All the wagon data is missing.

On a sidenote: Love those two sheets! Hope we'll see them more often on new locos in the future

You can make the brake calculation manually. To save time using the data from the nenu. (Lenght / weight). So just add the brakeweight according to the sheet and do the math (Brakeforce : Total weight) * 100.

I know, but that's not the point...
The point is that these sheets usually come filled out, as they should be one minute ahead of departure. I've got enough to do setting up the loco and train in this single minute, I don't wanna have to do brake weight calculations in addition to that.
I don't blame TSG, Skyhook or anyone, since loco and wagons are from two wildly different DLC's. I just wanted to point it out, so someone can look into it :)

The Zags aren't currently compatible with the bremszettel because they need an update to their setup as well as an update to the list of wagons/locos in the 145 DLC. I'm planning on adding it for the next update to the 145 so that as soon as the Zags are update they will show.

I created this proposal that could address the lack of time to prepare a train in expert mode.
