The DBDR 145 expert package also brought expert freight wagons. A long preparation is needed for the departure of such a train. Locomotive setup, troubleshooting, brake test and train inspection. This takes a lot of time. In the timetable, the dispatcher sets the train's path at a certain departure time. In my opinion, this is wrong. The signal is clear and I am just going around the train. My suggestion is that the dispatcher sets the train's path when I log off via the radio, the train is ready to depart. It can work the same way as if I insert a new train in free mode and set the path for it. Another command for the dispatcher, they need to stop. It would work if the dispatcher changes the train's path to a suitable staging track where the train stops. This would be suitable when serious faults occur on the locomotive. These staging tracks could be marked on the map in advance. If the fault could be repaired, then the dispatcher would be notified that the train is ready to depart. And the train would continue to its destination.
nice suggestion, but it would require general extension of freight gameplay in this game... like not just A to B, but also other complex procedures that make freight so interesting IRL... hell, even such a basic thing as loading and unloading, we only get in scenarios, I believe
The radio station would no longer be just a device on the locomotive, but could be used more widely, as on the Liberec-StarĂ¡ Paka DLC.
