Hi everyone, I’ve been working quietly on a project for a while now, and I am bringing the NS FLIRT 3 into TSW. What's Been Done So Far: 3D Modeling: Getting close to completion. The mABK coaches are completed, I am still working on the B coach. Texturing: I have started texturing the cab and am making good progress so far. SimGraph & Unreal: Implemented some basic SimGraph functions and setups in Unreal Engine. I would love your input and help with a few things: If anyone has clean audio recordings of the buttons, traction motors, or door sounds—really anything that comes from the NS FLIRT—I would hugely appreciate it if you could share them. Reference photos or videos of the equipment on the roof of the NS FLIRT. I am struggling to find good close-up references to work from, most of it is currently just guess work. I’ll keep this thread updated as I hit new milestones. Let me know what you think so far!
I was not planning to do an German version right now, I have my hands full trying to get the Dutch version working first.
Looks amazing Photos of the roofs are hard to find for most trains. this was the only one I could find on the internet that kinda shows the setup on the roof
woutbelt#3190 Nice project – it looks great so far. But in the first picture, you can see that the train isn’t quite on the tracks yet.
Looks very nice, happy to see another heavily requested (Dutch) train in development! Ziet er prachtig uit! Succes met ontwikkelen, ik heb nog wel wat foto's van de boven/zijkanten mocht je die nodig hebben.
Thanks, I got this one already, still would like some pictures even closer than this, but I am making progress:
At this current stage, I am not using any elements of any DLC; I am not sure if it will stay that way when it's all done. I might use something from the SNG that is part of the Zwolle to Groningen DLC. But time will tell.
It's station Gilze-Rijen. It was just me playing around in the editor—nothing serious for now. I was building part of Breda–Tilburg just for fun; it was never planned to be a full project.
