London Euston to Manchester with all stations including and being the virgin pedolino loco back too pc
Thanks for putting in all that hard work on your proposal. The supporting evidence was very compelling.
London to Birmingham here. https://alanthomsonsim.com/?download=west-coast-mainline-south-v5-1 But I think you want the TSW forum.
If you look at most DTG routes they are not more than an hours run or around 80 miles maximum I doubt if they would do a route which is 189 miles long. Peter
Virgin trains haven't got the franchise but It might have to be done British rail Intercity days the WCML stripped virgin trains from franchise
You can get most of this route (except for a short bit West of Birmingham) from Alanthomsonsim DTG don't normally replicate routes already made by others.
OK, let's clarify this DTG can make the ROUTE as in the tracks and stations, without a license as they aren't branded and are "owned" by the UK people Most of the stations to the South of this route are branded LNWR, so for their branding you would need LNWR permission Most of the trains in the London region are under TfL branding so TfL licensing (Overground and Underground) The regional trains are LNWR, so again their license The Intercity trains are Avanti, which is FirstGroup and an Italian company, so their license would be needed Currently, I think only the Overgound licensing is agreed with DTG (Goblin lines and the 378 pack), so all the other licenses would be needed for DTG to sell this route with appropriate liveries and station signage
Okay right so dovetail games should go ahead to make this Intercity railway route for the players like myself
Except someone else already has... So as I said, DTG tend not to make things other people already have If you want WCMLS, go to ATS
No, not that I would advise people to buy either route both have their place and what I said at the time stands, they tend not to. If they go against this then people will find more to complain about...
His first, rather jocular post on this forum and you can't even say "welcome to the forum"? Perhaps if your original posts avoided disdainful and terse tropes like "Stop talking rubbish" fewer would be happy to point out your unfortunate but understandable prediction that WCMLs wouldn't be released because it's too long. Personally, as someone you've previously been rude to, I laughed some wee out when I saw what you'd said back in April. Just because we're grizzled old BR staff and have been playing Railworks since it was on the Amiga, doesn't give us the right to be rude. Start with a smile and maybe the discourse will be politer. As an ex-football referee, it's been a while but...[reaches into top pocket for a yellow card]. Now play nicely, everyone please. TS needs more newbies involved, not fewer.
