Is this a general issue? Feels like I am hearing the sounds from the 321 as it passes by as if I am in the cab of it! Pretty sure I just heard the guard buzzer for example.

Do you have sound > EFX ticked in your settings?

Sometimes DTG have the sounds set wrong.
I stopped in Clapham Jn and you could hear the Guards Bell from inside my train
In the Sound files there are entries to say if the sound should be heard inside or out and how far from the train you should hear the sound.

You SHOULD have it ticked... see my thread on the AP Class 91 I made a few months back.... I'll link to it if I can find it.

I didn't have the 321 (either DTG or AP), but it was in the sale for peanuts, so I just grabbed it. There appears to be little difference between the inside and outside sounds. It's a bit rubbish... no wonder it's cheap. I think the AP version while it's in the sale is the way to go.

    Here's what mine sounds like....

Forward to 1:10... There's literally no difference between inside and outside sounds.

A bit of a waste of £3.59 if you ask me. The AP one is only £8 in the sale, and it wipes the floor with this, has a ton of features and comes with loads of liveries.

I believe the OP meant "If I drive past an AI class 321 it sounds like it's in the cab with me rather than next track"
I have similar with the class 170 which sounds as if I am underneath it when it's half a mile away

Maybe... probably still a fault of the 321 though I reckon. Its sounds are pants. I want my £3.59 back.

[edit] It looks like its windows need a wash as well.

Correct! I bought the AP 170 EP for precisely that reason. Pain with the AP 321 is that it's a different model rather than a soundpack so I would have to edit it out of scenarios.

Ah, I'll turn it back on :)
