Please add the (gradient effect) of the route and the corresponding camera position to get more angles to enjoy the locomotive and scenery. The busy marshalling yard should have more locomotives instead of being empty and quiet. DTG should extend the length of the route. There is a timetable in the game, including Frankfurt railway station, but the actual destination can only reach the Cologne railway station. The high-speed ICE route should go from the main station to the main station. Pay more for the wallet, but use DTG to get a longer altitude route.
On points 2 and 3 DTG have given reasons why they haven't 2. Filling the marshalling yard with a lot of locos and cars has a massive impact on performance. Besides that it also limits the room they have to implement future layers. 3. Some players indeed would like longer routes, and are willing to pay more for them. However just as many wouldn't like to pay €60+ for a route. A different idea is to split up routes like the Brussels-Frankfurt one you mention in sections like SKA, and join them as I've suggested, or in any other way of joining that has been suggested. This way people that only want to spend ~€30 on a route can, while the ones that want more can buy a seperate route that will allow for a continuation of the service. Swedewagon made a quite good suggestion for Köln-Frankfurt.
In fact, DTG can provide longer routes for players who need longer routes. For players who need a 30-minute experience, they only need to provide a period of service, In Frankfurt Hbf to Nuremberg hbf (40 Euros), I am willing to pay for this complete route. For those who just want to experience it, you can choose Frankfurt to Aschaffenburg (20 Euros) and Frankfurt to Würzburg (30 Euros) .
That would be a decent Idea, but if DTG develops routes in two standalone parts, people can buy either both parts, or just one of the two, allowing the players more choice (they don't have to start in Frankfurt, but could only buy Nuremberg-Wurzburg or Frankfurt-Wurzburg). Bringing out one route first would allow DTG to see if there is demand for the second one. Then for people that have both routes continous services should be made possible.
