"Experience one of Europe’s busiest freight and commuter railways"
I really want to see that ahahahaha, like on LIRR "experience one of the busiest commuter railroads and Jamaica station", and end up being a timetable totally innacurate and very dead timetable compared to the advertising (which is clearly fake) and to the real life timetable...

Other than that the modeling of the route seems really well done, the BR 112 will be a new experience for me although this won’t be the same case for other players. Bargteheide (if that’s how you spell it, I’m not German lol) looks like a really interesting railfanning spot:D

I am more astonished by the train PIS, as those should show the train category and terminal station.

And on Fb, there is a calendar emoji, showing 14th of May, but that is not a Thursday.

So DTG was right about the screenshots depicting content still in development...

I would say this wheel looks a bit, off the rails:D

At least the 112 numbering seems fixed. Next the headlight and then... you know... the big thing... the one with two levels... :D

"Bargteheide station features something rather unique, a crossing with a working gate right in the middle of the platform. This rather unconventional design is there to ensure passengers have safe passage to the east-bound platform, as neither a bridge nor underpass have been constructed."

In Britain this is indeed unusual, but in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands (Venray, Oss, Sneek, Leerdam, Tilburg University for example) as well...it is quite usual ;)

For the rest: bring it on!! It looks great!

I guess the freight fraction will be happy, but passenger wise still a huge disappointment as it seems. Curious to see how it looks this evening

I still find it a pitty, that all the rolling stock is recycled, as far as we know.

As far as I can see from the screenshots:
BR 112 recycled from the BR 143
    Dostos recycled, changed only PIS
BR 182 MRCE recycled from the BR 182 DB. Changed color and removed PIS
and I am pretty sure, that the we already have the waggons too.

If only there were not those errors we see, the big top headlight on the BR 112, the missing train categories in the PIS etc ...
I don't like the wrong Dostos, but I could live with them.
But the wrong headlight on the BR 112 is pretty bad for a recycled loco.
The missing train categories are even more visible after there were so nice PIS on the German routes before.

This is by far the most interesting shot, I can see the cab detail is much higher than the BR143, and it would seem on par with the latest releases, I hope the Taurus has a new cab as well, the old one is not the best, maybe it has a screen like the TRAXX? I'm not an expert on the MRCE Taurus.

Hopefully the Taurus has received some improvements in terms of cab and sounds (I would hope the improvements will be like the RT Talent and the SKA Talent...), otherwise this route will not offer a lot of value for money. The SD40 in CRR has a different cab, so I am sure the BR182 received a similar treatment. Can't wait for tonight's stream

Honestly at this point the oversized middle headlight is bothering me way more than the dosto wagons. Compared to real life pictures it is very obious that the middle one is way to large in this game... like on first glance obvious.
Then the service markings on the on train PIS are missing-You get the type, number and then terminal station (Like f.e. "RE7 Krefeld" and not only the terminal).
So let's see if they can at least improve on that front. Apparently its release is far longer away than I expected/imagined considering we get the first stream today. Maybe they can get at least some of these "smaller" issues sorted out until then.
The moment I saw the low entry dostos on the very first pictures I knew they will be included and that nothing is gonna change about that, especially within the timeframe, so I won't even ask for changes there.

Other than that, I really like the look of the stations and am excited for the stream today, as it might also answer some questions.

no chance the middle one is bigger irl.
I don't exactly know what it is but the ingame version just seems wrong. maybe the lower ones are too small?

BTW the upper picture also shows the proper destination display.

But it is quicker if dtg reuse locos than start from scratch , it means that you get the dlc earlier

The usual pace is about one route every 60 days (not counting 3rd parties). We had SEHS at the beginning of February and Clinchfield the first week of April; I reckon early June for HBL, and August might see the Rush Hour bundle (which I am thinking will include Cathcart Circle).

It seems to me that the lights are the right sizes (with the middle one being slightly larger than the bottom two) but the in game version has the two blocks on either side of the light too high up, in both real life shots they're level or below the center light, but in the game model they're level with the middle of the light

Now that you said that, I see it as well - it seems the alignment is wrong. But still either the lights are not the same size or the wrong alignment makes the front look off. Whatever it is, something is just not right...

The lower headlights are too far inside. I don't understand how something like this can happen. Surely one has looked at the pictures before?

Maybe a better comparison! To my opinion, it looks okay. I suspect DTG did have technical drawings of the 112 (as well as the 143) ;)

The headlight is definitely the wrong size. The original 112 lights are all the same size, it's a DDR loco, the more they could save, the better, so they used the same frames and covers for the lights. I do agree though there seem to be more problems with the front than just that.

Except that on the 143, the DR/LEW used a decidedly smaller frame and lens for the top light.

Which were shared with BR 155s, DR V60s, DR V100s. If you look at those locos, they all have combinations of two sizes. At that time they had two sizes of frames, they used everywhere (you can tell by those "round-ish" edges on the frames). 112 came with new frames(with sharper edges), but they only used one size.

There is a mix of cabs on the MRCE 182s (3 different cabs)

Well if people where standing on the platforms instead of the tracks, this loco wouldn't have broken windows.Well what do you know dtg has had this right all the time and we thought people standing on the track was just a glitch.

The BR 112.1 is not a DDR locomotive. Sure it's a descendant of the 143 family which was built in former East Germany but the 112.1 was built after the reunification and after AEG had taken over the former state-owned LEW Hennigsdorf, which built the entire 143 family.
Using the same size for all three headlights was a typical West German move, East German locomotives usually had bigger main lights and a small thrid light (as can be seen with the 143 and the 112.0/114)

Interesting, I personally would like a rework of the old cab without the screens, at least with some higher res textures, but I wouldn't be surprised if they put the screens, a bit like the BR406/403 in SKA/HMA, at the end it's ok, but I fear that the Class 375 has set a pretty bad precedent, so I'd be happy whatever they did, as long as it's better.
