To finish off the Keystone Subdivision we continue North of Connellsville till we get to McKeesport when the Keystone Subdivision end and then Pittsburgh Subdivision starts were we end the route at Pittsburgh. I could not find a map of this section so I cropped a Penndot PDF for this, CSX is in Orange. Services may follow on from Sand Patch similar to how it does in my Rockwood - Connellsville suggestions wink wink, Of course I wish for more types like MOW, and Odd jobs like Rescuing a Broken train. Locomotives: GE ET44AH: Tier 4 Emission compliant ES44AH, not to be Confused with the AC4400CW These big guys similar to the AC4400CW haul the heavy stuff, like I said in my previous CSX suggestion wink wink if im gonna make a CSX suggestion I Will broaden the range of locos so this will do the trick. GE C40-8: NOT to be confused with the C40-8W this is the standard cab version someone in my Rockwood - Connellsville suggestion wink wink, said I should make the Standard cab C40-8 as a DLC for it but I decided to put it here instead, these are also primarily freight locos but they may also be used on MOW and yard work overall the Equivalent of the SD40-2 from Sand Patch. EMD MP15T: I saw a post about a mod but it was no ordinary mod it replaced the MP15DC's model with a new one and added it to Sand patch's service mode it is most certainly well done and I said to myself "I have to add a MP15 in a suggestion". So With the Help of csxfan#8403 I got info on where CSX uses there MP15Ts, On this Route CSX Uses there MP15Ts on services around the Pittsburgh area like Glenwood yard, demmler, Mckeeseport, and some more, according to him they may also be found at Connellsville yard which makes a great layering opportunity on Rockwood - Connellsville (no more winks my eyes are tired). Layering: Locos from Rockwood - Connellsville and Sand Patch can layering in and out of this route with the MP15T being able to be used at Cumberland Yard, along side CRR SD40, and Cane Creek UP Locos, plus the UP GP38-2 I ain't leaving that guy behind DLC: NRE 3GS21B: These Units Named "Gensets" are made by National Railway Equipment and are powered by 3 Cummins QSK19C I6 engines Producing 700HP per engine for a total of 2,100HP, the goal of these units are Lowered emissions and improved Fuel economy, these can do Yard work Light freight and MOW, Speaking of MOW ive mentioned it A lot so with this loco i would like to see MOW equipment come with it. A Mega CSX Keystone Subdivision route: Welp before I finish I wanna mention the possibility of selling a Mega combined version of This Rockwood - Connellsville and Sand Patch with all the Locos Scenarios Services the like since now I basically suggestion the rest of the Keystone Subdivision. Shout to csxfan#8403 for info on the MP15T i'm out :p If you like This suggestion you may like This https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...ion-rockwood-connellsville.41785/#post-330884
Really excellent proposal and why not add in 1300s Genset 8900s CSX SD70ACE Tier 4 to this route and an existing route Sand Patch Grade Rockwood Pennsylvania to Cumberland Maryland
Great Suggestion... hope this happens... would also be cool to get the CSX Cumberland Sub from Cumberland to Brunswick at somepoint so we have from Pittsburgh to Brunswick
To be fair on my part im not a CSX Expert im about Low/Mid tier plus some else said “hey Gensets would make a nice loco for this” so i looked and found a suitable genset for the job
perhaps i think one thing of Note it is EXTEREMLY similar to the ET44AH which i suggested as a loco on this route so weather it could make a good Loco DLC for this is up for debate
The Genset is a fantastic addition, as is the ST70AH (CSX's SD70ACe-T4s). I think a Siemens ALC-42 Charger or Genesis P42DC could be added for passenger services.
As a supporter, I support the original poster's point of view and hope to go directly to Pittsburgh to Rockwood, so that you can go directly to Cumberland.
