" Fixed the texture on the elevator doors at Haywards Heath " My goodness, that's a detail I would never have spotted in a million years. Was it ever mentioned on the forum? It shows that someone either in Beta or internal testing is on the ball, when it comes to small imperfections. Of course, the bigger fish are still swimming around out there, but it's always nice to see the shrimp being reeled in.
Meanwhile, at Skyhook: "Updated the player's driving position when seated in the driver's seat" If we change their relative position to the sound source then the locomotive will sound more like the actual thing. Bug fixes 101
Although this engine's tutorial covers a few of the functions of what it calls "the right screen", I'd appreciate having a full guide to all of its functions. Since my knowledge of German doesn't extend even to searching for this information, some clues would help.
Is it me or is the 377 cab now as bright as daylight all the time? I'm sure it wasn't as bad as this pre-update today. The 387 is fine and is dark when it is dark outside but the 377 just remains the same brightness whether it's day or night outside.
No word on fixing silent AWS magnets or incorrect speed limit boards. But at least the elevator doors got fixed.
I have tested 1W30 and 1W98, both services still crash as soon as passengers want to board the 387 at Brighton.
Thanks for the info. I will wait to play it until they fix that. It really makes me angry when the game crashes and loses all progress after 1h playing.
Save before you open the doors, let it crash and then load the save. After that there are no more passengers on the platform, you can then open the doors without problems and complete these services. If you get the message that you have passed a red signal, simply select the last checkpoint and then open the doors to complete these services.
In the old TS day just saving the session could make your current session not work properly, so I developed savebuttonphobia. Might be worth a try on BML.
I think it's always been like that (unless it was briefly fixed) - basically the cab walls are reflecting the saloon lights in the 377.
Yes that's right, the Class 377 cab has always been too bright. Matt explained the problem in one of the London Commuter streams and I have explained it here as best I could.
So still no fixes for the LZB in the BR187. So disappointed they are taking a long time to fix it. I have it in my library without playing for more than a month now. Its unacceptable.
To see these issues persisting and then the announcement that the Rush Hour Season Ticket is being withdrawn before they are fixed is a bit of a slap in the face. Basically saying you have to buy on trust, which of course has a certain track record with this title.
I had a look at the new elavator doors and, while I don't remember what they looked like before... I don't know. Is this better? This is on PS5. Looks like an unpainted texture.
The patch notes says that different platforms might get the updates later. So maybe these are the old textures, not yet updated?
Given that you have to break through a brick wall to get in or out of the elevator at ground level, I guess the improved texture resolution of the doors will work wonders to soothe your headache..
Now, that same bright spark who fixed the platform level textures can make the street level doors. Or maybe this elevator only goes up?
Actually I think that - at least nowadays - the elevator only goes up irl.. to a footbridge, that apparently has been added around 2016, but is not featured in the game. If it goes up in the game, you get to.. another brick wall.
