    Ruhr Sieg Nord Expansions
So far from the images released by Dovetail Games, Ruhr Sieg Nord looks to be a very good new German route. A good selection of locomotives and rolling stock is included in the dlc, however there are some things which I think should be added to the route in the future through further expansions.

    Single Deck Coaches

In the Ruhr Sieg Nord dlc, only the 4th Generation Doppelstockwagen are included. Before operations were taken over by Abellio, DB also used Single Deck Coaches (n-wagons) on the route as well. Adding these coaches would improve the realism of the route and add some diversity to passenger operations. See Shukal 's post at the further down for more info.

    RBH-Liveried Class 143

To improve diversity of freight services, a RBH liveried BR 143 could be added if licensing isn't a problem. With TS1, german locos were always Deutsche Bahn and it would be good to get a variety of operators into TSW, not just DB.

    Abellio FLIRT
    2560px-Hohenlimburg,_Eisenbahnbrücke.jpg

Passenger services on the Ruhr Sieg line are now operated by Abellio, using FLIRT locomotives. License permitting, it would be good to see these added as well. If DTG does not want to add unlicensed locos to TSW, a third party could create this and the RBH BR 143 at a later date once the editors are released.

    Further Freight Locos
The Ruhr Sieg line is a major freight artery in Germany so it would make sense to add further freight locos for this route. My suggestion would be to add the DB BR 151 first.

    Shunting Locos
Shunting Locos such as the DB BR 294 or Voith Gravita could be added for work in yards such as the one at Hagen, opening up further freight opportunities.

    Compatability with Rapid Transit
The freight locos mentioned in this post could be used on the Rapid Transit route also and if the above ground part of Leipzig Hbf was modelled, the DB BR 143 could be added for some passenger services as well.

also some route expansion like south to Siegen or north to Essen or Dortmund would be nice.

A route extension would be nice. However, I decided to focus on these additions as they would be easier and less time consuming than a route extension. At the moment, DTG is probably wanting to build new routes rather than expand those that are already released. Any route extension would be much more long term than these suggestions.

How about a shunter? I understand that some other engines were used for shunting, but several excellent shunters already exist in TS, so why not in TSW?

    yes seems so.

would be nice to see route extension to Siegen together with a Abellio Flirt (in the future).
Nevertheless I would really like a loco pack and a german shunter for TSW would be great.

Well the 143 couldn't be used in the tunnels.Thats cause of the old fire safety.Do that wouldn't be realistic.I hope for the 294 or the 151.Very classic locomotives. In my opinion DTG should give an option for repaints. And that BEFORE the Editor is released. You need only paint.net ^^ So the repaint is in my opinion not important cause somebody in the community could do an freeware repaint. The 294 or 151 could be for an new Loco Add-on used ;)

That's why I suggested modelling the above ground part of Leipzig HBF so that the DB BR 143 doesn't have to use the City Tunnel. By adding RE13 Leipzig - Magdeburg services to Rapid Transit, the DB BR 143 could avoid the city tunnel and still be used on Rapid Transit.

n-Wagen would be really important for prototypical trains. I'm surprised they have so few votes here. (Might make sense to indicate that you are referring to n-Wagen with single decker coaches) [IMG]
A Br 294 for shunting would be great:[IMG]
110s and 140s were used on the line too:[IMG]

Considering how much people enjoyed the NEC switching services, a switcher al la the V90 is probably the biggest thing they could do for the route gameplay wise. And with the 294 specifically, remote control operation would be a great potential feature to compliment walking around.

New liveries could increase variation with relatively little effort. But I don‘t know if I‘m wrong about that.

I've updated the poll to give the option of the BR 110, 140 and 266. You can update your votes if you want (unlimited votes still).

Why all the downvotes Trainplayer465 ?

I've also added a steam loco option to the poll.

Thanks for adding a steam engine option! A 52 would be excelent for this route when the figure steam lokeys out.

    Alternatives to the DR 52 would be the class 01 (4-6-2), class 41 (2-8-2), class 44 (2-10-0), class 50 (2-10-0) or locomotive 18 201 (4-6-2).

The shunter would fit in perfectly. I used it alot in TS2018 after the enhancement pack by TrainTeamBerlin which overhawled the loco a fair bit. European style coaches are the cherry on top. Everybody that has lived/lives in Europe traveled on these type of coaches. A very good example is CFR Romanian railways which have the exact coaches featured in this route, people go wild for these.

Man könnte auch den RE 13 ersatzweise nur bis Messe fahren lassen
