The Borders Railway: Edinburgh-Tweedbank I hope you enjoyed reading this long-wounded, continued suggestion from October's one, remember, no arguments, you are all entitled to your opinions so I don't mind if you want the route or not and I'll see you guys below... See you next time for another suggestion for TSW
Why not run this like the train simulator classic version since it came with LNER A4 Class 68 Mk 2 Scotrail 158 170. Excellent idea and in the screenshot loading pages this would be a hit just like the train simulator classic version of the route with some of the loading screens from Screenshot contest winner featuring the forth Bridge
Yep, it is the TSC Fife Circle Line but with a new extension to Dundee with a potential merge with my Dundee-Aberdeen suggestion in the top message of this suggestion
It might be too large a project if we're including both the full Fife Circle, the line to Dundee and the Class 158 alongside the Class 170 and HST. At a minimum I think the main line to Dundee should be featured, but with a short spur to Glenrothes (where Fife Circle services can start/end) if the inner circle were to be excluded. The Class 170 is a must and the HST might be an easy inclusion if it can be rebuilt from the Great Western HST (just like the real thing!).
On the route side, I agree with that On the train side, the 170 and 158 are needed, the HST can layer from GWE and take your fancy out of the four DLC options available
Using railmiles engine this would come out to 59 miles 14ch Dundee to Edinburgh Waverly and I'm and for the circle it might be 10 to 20 miles therefore we would have a route 70 to 80 miles which is actually shorter than 115 MI 186 km Schnellfahrstrecke Hannover Würzburg Kassel Würzburg segment.
I agree with you and Cathcart Circle can merge with Glasgow to Edinburgh via Carstairs or Shotts due to them sharing Glasgow Central. What will happen is that you get the 2019 time table with 385 peak runs
We rarely get two completely new trains with routes nowadays, so I would pick the Class 170 over the Class 158 (it would still be great if we got both ) The HST can't really layer on as it would need modifying from the existing one we have (different formation, livery, and door type).
My god man…. This would really be a dream come true if this ever happened for TSW. Such a great route. And very scenic too with the bridges and stuff. come to think of it actually. Has TSW had a route where we can cross a massive bridge yet ???.
I would love if this route came to TSW I can't think of any routes off the top of my head but I'm sure someone will fully answer your question
