Going through the list of classes, there are not really that many fitting the combination of multi-current and era 2011+. BR193, some of the new ICEs, maybe BR189 or other DE-FR locos. In theory some less common variants of otherwise single-current locos, BR102, some of the Flirts.
Given the usability on our routes and cautious hope that it's not yet another Traxx, BR193 (Vectron) sounds like a good fit.

I would like be the Siemens Vectron!
Could be used for both passenger and freight trains.
I had suggested this locomotive, around 2 years ago.

Probably the Vectron! It is together with the Traxx-types the most used engine in Europe!

My money is on Vectron, highly doubt DTG would release another TRAXX loco as a standalone DLC.

It's either a newer ICE variant or the Vectron, would love either in game tbh, probably for Kassel but who knows, could be anywhere ;)

According to Wikipedia, the DB BR 189 has been on German Rails since 2003, so that would not work with the Code

Let’s pray it won’t be made by Skyhook I still haven’t forgot what they’ve done with the 187 as I really wanted to have the 147 as well. I wish like many others said, it’ll be the Vectron I’m kinda fed up with the Traxx.

The code signifies the date of when the loco is set not the date it was introduced. So it could be any multicurrent loco still running post 2011

It seems as if Dovetail are going through the trio of highly requested loco DLCs for the Rush Hour routes (Acela Express, BR Class 700*...), and the main one in contention for Dresden - Riesa was the ICE T.
    *Only going on SEHS, though.

Now whilst I don't think that fits the code, I'm just curious if the other ICE Classes which are appropriate for the DLC Code would work for Dresden - Riesa.

I think that would be written in the Roadmap if the DLC was Skyhook. From what I understand it is from Dovetail.

Before I read the code, I was hoping we’d get something for Left Rhine, but oh well, can’t have everything. Anyways, my money is on the Vectron. Here’s hoping we get the gorgeous MRCE black ones.

Never quite understood the hype around the Vectron or whats so special about it, especially when you could have something like a EuroDual. But as the Vectron is probably the most requested loco after the BR Class 700 its only logic to bring this to TSW.

A Vectron? Another german, chirping, below 30km/h coughing electric locomotive? This? Really now?
And let me guess: Coupled to a big, fat, red Dosto?

Seriously: Don´t we miss some heavy Diesels on german routes? The BR 204 doesn´t count. I´d be even convinced to buy TSW3 for a TSG Ludmilla, or be it a BR218, also fine.

Try coupled to freight. That’s what she’s predominantly used for in Germany.

    and other countries in Europe!
In Switzerland every second international freight train has at least one Vectron in front; it’s the same in Germany, Austria,…

The 189 in TSC is very nice and doesn’t have that ghastly stepped screeching noise of the TRAXX locos when accelerating or braking. Done well I might be tempted.

Maybe it’s just an idea of mine, but aren’t the Tauruses (that sounds weird) used on Railjet trains also multi current?

So my guess would be an Railjet, probably for München-Augsburg

I doubt it, after what Matt said on the Roadmap Stream yesterday. This Route needs an Upgrade to Support a single DLC, so I don't think they'll develop a second one.

Maybe since they are completely overhauling the timetable for the br 420 to work, then they are also going to create layers for it

I would love it to be a Vectron. It's also the only one that would make sense. The multicurrent ICE (ICE 3M BR406) is aesthetically identical to the ICE3 BR403 we already have so it wouldn't be very interesting. The Vectron is - besides the TRAXX family - the most-seen locomotive in the whole EU so it would make sense on almost any German route and it could even do a run on Rivet's Luzern - Sursee route.

Now, for me, the most interesting question would be: why do we need a multicurrent locomotive? What more is DTG not telling us about?

Both BR218 and BR232 are/were in some stage of development already, as far as we know.

We already got BR182 twice as a paid addon (one just few months ago even), I doubt even they would expect people to pay for it for third time.

We even already have BR406 in game, and its equipment is not used for any practical use.

Well it is a little bit different to the ones we got already.
The Railjet Taurus has 3 pantographs, instead of two, it also has some covers on the lower part, which makes it more streamlined (?)

And don’t forget the Railjet coaches that would come with them!

I'm hoping that it's not just an engine. if it is the Vectron, there is an opportunity for a Nightjet version with the appropriate stock. If it is the standard version, then we really need some new freight cars to go with it.

I'm sure the first Austrian DLC will be a standalone Route and not a Loco DLC for a German Route.

Oh yeah. I just specified Germany because it seems Vectrons are used a lot for passenger duties in Eastern Europe.

If it's a Vectron, I really hope it's the MRCE ones, they look pretty slick. Way better than traffic red.

A 189 would be nice as well, but I guess it can't be the heavy-duty 189s with automatic couplers. Don't really have a route for those.

I think it's about time for the Vectron :)
As far as I "heard" it's pretty quiet in the cab so bashing incoming ...

Gameplay-wise I think there are some cool scenarios possible with switching from OHLE to diesel and vice versa (for example).

But anyway, a new German loco was anounced, hyped enough come what may!

That means ÖBB Baureihe 1116 Railjet 63/66 Frankfurt am Main Hbf Schnellfahrstrecke Stuttgart Ulm Augsburg Hauptstrecke München Augsburg Schnellfahrstrecke Salzburg Wien Westbahn to Budapest Keleti. There is going to be a problem for it is that the ÖBB Baureihe 1116 simply going to be cloned from the rapid transit 182. In reality it should be the other way around ÖBB Baureihe 1116 being cloned to make MRCE Dispolok DB Baureihe 182. There is another version of that train ÖBB Baureihe 1216 Railjet.

You are correct I'm not sure if you are familiar with a Deutsche Reichsbahn Baureihe 230 DB Baureihe 180 that used to do Dresden into former Czechoslovakia 3kv DC OHLE? If yes then is is what they are making

The Vectron locomotive is a universal locomotive. Passenger trains also run on Czech railways.

If it's really the Vectron and if we're lucky, it's compatible with the BR 101 IC Wagon, even if it's only in Scenario Planner.
