Best Class 700 Cc Scenarios

Also a quick side note, it’s great to see there’s now 20 solid scenarios for the 700, really stretching it’s current potential. Especially that this thread is pinned, it’s great to see the community coming together to deliver something we all want. (stretching the 700s legs to an extent) Hope there’s many more scenarios from many more people to come

Class 700 Scenario Pack subscription update:

It seems Desiro City Beginning is very popular along with Desiro City Sun

Desiro City Speed and Desiro City Night are doing alright with 50+ subscribers

Desiro City Empties and Desiro City Fog aren't as popular as the other four with around 40 subscribers each


Anyone who has played any of my wonderful scenarios have any feedback for them of future improvements or if they are fine as they are, I appreciate any feedback which comes my way as it may be helpful for me to investigate any issues or make any additions to them

 

I just drove the Edinburgh to Glascow scenario and it was a real pleasure to drive the class 700 under wire. Also the big wind screen gives a great view of the route. This is recommended if you want to experience the performance of these emus under ac traction.

Also just so people are aware, I am currently on holiday in Devon with rubbish reception so will update the thread when I can but currently on my mobile with the mobile data so the screen is way too small. I have got a laptop so I am going to get one of the grandkids to set up the personal hotspot thing tomorrow (ok later today!) so I can update this thread.

 

I just drove this one and it was fun. Nice AI and it was wonderful to run the 700 at max speed with a wide window on the nice Scottish scenery.

Got a bit distracted by Silberlinge and my newly acquired Harlem line, but this one piqued my curiosity so I gave it a try tonight.

Fantastic scenario, TrainGeek08. With the appropriate weather, it was a very atmospheric journey, especially when you stop at all the right stations. Actually took me back to some of my late night trains I caught from London back home to Brighton. Arriving at the warmly-lit Brighton station in the middle of the night conjured up many memories in me.

On a general note, thanks to all of you wonderful people contributing to this thread and of course special thanks to matt#4801 for organising the entire thing! I figured we’d get some good scenarios but never expected this many - I can’t keep up! And I haven’t played a single scenario that wasn’t fabulous. It’s astonishing what our community can achieve working together

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it and the memories that you have going along that route IRL during the night as well, I decided to put a winter twist to it as well hence the snow

 

I must agree, before setting off at stupid o'clock last Sunday night I did do this scenario and did enjoy it very much, so yes a massive well done traingeek mate! In regards to the thread I am shocked how many scenarios we got too, I expected maybe two or three before the thread disappeared into history but well no!

good plan! i’m not entirely sure if you have to set the weather yourself or not, if so then i put it to snow storm on fixed weather. hope you enjoy it if you get to try it out

Hey buddy, completed your scenario this afternoon and very enjoyable it was too. I waited until 23.05 before departure, but nothing out of the ordinary happened, was there suppose to be a surprise? I did wait a very long time on a red light outside my first stop, but that was all. I can’t help feeling I’ve missed something? Great run though, good AI, nice distance, I happily trundled along at 90 mph most of the way, good job Olly.

 

I have dl'ed a number of these and have a question concerning the ones I have. When I go into the load section of the start up screen, does the green check mark in the scenario mean I have or have not played this one.

 

I am not sure but will have a look and see what the ones I have done have at some point later today.

 

Another way to check is if it appears in the list if custom scenarios for London Commuter in the Scenario Planner section on the Creator's Club part of the menu in the DTL section of the menu if that makes sense

Definitely recommend Desiro City Night. Remember to change the weather before you start( I forgot, had to retry lol)
and the freight liner livery is very cool. Great job, I’m looking forward to working my way through the others now.

I'd recommend you do Desiro City Beginning as near the end you are getting overtaken by another 700 and 377s passing you on both the fast and the slow lines around Purley Oaks

 

Ok thanks for the heads up. I’ll give it a go tomorrow but I’m not sure I’m happy about being overtaken at the best of times, let alone the slow line. Ps the bird incident on the front of that freight liner is priceless ! Great work buddy

Wow, loved this. My favourite 700 scenario so far, I’d give it 10/10 if you could get me some blinking passengers lol Nice touch with the custom liveries and amount of AI traffic, you were spot on with the ending!

Does anyone have the slow TL Gatwick to Bedford scenarios ? With the 700/0s as they run slow services there in real life, they run via redhill and are pathed as 700/0s

Hey buddy, been on your cc today and downloaded 7001 Southall-Newhaven Parts 1&2 but couldn’t find Part 3.
I’ve tried a separate search for the scenario in the main menu with those details and it said nothing found (which is obviously wrong as you have Parts 1&2 on your page) what am I doing wrong ? Any help much appreciated.
By the way, part 1&2 were great, and I’m loving the liveries; thank you

 

I'll try to find out what is happening with Part 3 but try searching '7O01' and see what comes up

EDIT: It comes up for me when I search 7O01 on Creator's Club so fingers crossed, it should work for yourself
