I thought this was a nice run, plenty of yellow/red to keep me on my toes, have to say I was glad to make it all the way without SPAD. Thanks
As I voted for this earlier I just wanted to say that this was my most enjoyable run so far. Decent length service, for me anyway. Lots of AI made it quite a busy route, had to queue for a while to get into East Croydon (probably my fault as I was running late, as I normally am lol). Found it really immersive right from the start when I tried chasing another train leaving along side me, only to realise I needed to stop at the next station! Would definitely recommend this scenario to everyone. Excellent job Olly!
It's been pinned , that way everybody can see this wonderful thread of scenarios containing the Class 700, mainly on BML but on other routes too
There, I have subscribed to a number of them, including the one on BCC. This should keep me busy for a bit.
I have just got in and so hopefully, providing testing goes well, I may get mine out tonight! That's brilliant. Thanks to whoever did that!
Thanks for collating these Matt. Subscribing now, though I have a steam run on SoS to finish first. Out of interest these don't appear to be on Steam Workshop where I first looked, but within DTG's own "CC" network.
I've only ever previously used Creator's Club for liveries - that is until these 700 BML scenarios! So far I've played four from Tom Fresco which were excellent with lots of AI traffic: - (TF) Thameslink Bedford Brighton - (TF) ECW 700 Empty Stock - (TF) Thameslink Brighton Bedford - (TF) Thameslink ECR-Gatwick I must say that on the first scenario, I had a big smile with the first time of the 700 with BML - it's going to be difficult going back to the normal London Commuter timetable without the 700, just really hope DTG can finally add this to the existing timetable, would be truly epic!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the runs, and that i could get you into CC scenarios Maybe uploading another scenario or two this evening or tomorrow. Driving the 700 in BML really feels like this is the route it belongs on
700 Problems at Once Part 1. A day later than I had planned my class 700 scenario is finally here. I thought I would do something slightly different that the majority and actually run the 700 on ECW, however it seems I was not alone in thinking that so it may not be too different. Nonetheless this run involves you driving a class 700 to Seaford with passengers alighting at Lewes due to a tree falling across the Brighton Mainline meaning you are not the only train having to divert. This is not based on a real life event and I am not sure how much of the route Thameslink drivers sign in real life, I think they at least sign up to Lewes, not sure about beyond, and is set here and now. The scenario should take about 40 minutes and requires NO custom liveries. The required dlc is: East Coastway Brighton Mainline BR Class 700 ROG BR Class 37/7 Here the Creators Club link. And here are my screenshots: If you play the scenario, I hope you enjoy it and be sure to let me know if you've any feedback. Enjoy.
The BML scenarios are great and just subscribed to Matt's ECW one too. Far better than that tedious Medway plod!
As a reminder... My Class 700 Scenario Pack on London Commuter will be releasing tomorrow morning, so check out either this thread or my Creator's Club Releases thread in the Creation Centre from between 10am-10:30am as that's when I'm releasing them
Thanks mate. I'll tell you something, the amount of scenery I saw when I was testing it that I had never seen before was astonishing. ECW is actually a very beautiful route. Looking forward to it. I will try and add it to the first post ASAP but obviously I can't do it whilst driving so it may be a bit delayed. Depending how I cope with my mobile phone and dodgy internet it may be mid afternoon but otherwise in the evening. Anyway I am off to make a cuppa and play one of Olly's scenarios, after looking at my other alerts!
I don't mind if you can't get them up right away but as long as they are up there when you can add them, that's the main thing
See my latest post over on my Creator's Club Releases thread for information about the 700 Scenario Pack

Thank you - sounds good, I very much look forward to playing your new scenarios. Indeed, the BML is the actual home of the Class 700 and let's hope it can eventually be part of London Commuter's timetable mode one day.
Really nice job, I’d forgotten how much I liked ECW. Perfect amount of AI, lovely scenery and an enjoyable run in the 700, what’s not to like 9/10…….nobody gets a 10, or do they ?…..
Yes I thought the same about ECW, it is a genuinely beautiful route. I take 9/10 as more of a compliment that 10/10, that extra 1 is always out of pity. Glad you enjoyed it mate!
Figured I would put my own scenario on here if anyone wants to check it out https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/mods/99263
Got to play this one today and can highly endorse it. Really enjoyed the plethora of AI and adverse signals The 700 just feels right at home on BML.
Somewhat off topic, but it would be nice if a member of the dtg team see this and could consider putting in the proper thameslink paths into creators club as we all know it won’t be in the timetable for a very long time, if not ever. Maybe then we could make even more scenarios with much more realistic stopping patterns, for example being able to stop at three bridges or do a proper three bridges to east croydon run with the correct stopping pattern.
That would be great, I've included in the description of Desiro City Sun and Desiro City Night to remember to stop at the extra stops that Thameslink make (Three Bridges, Balcombe & Wivelsfield) as there is no paths currently
700 Problems at Once Part 2. Part 2 of my my class 700 scenarios is finally here. This return run in another unit from London involves you driving a class 700 from Seaford with passengers getting back on at Lewes due to a tree falling across the Brighton Mainline meaning you are not the only train having to divert. Sadly due to limited scenario planner paths means there is slightly less AI in this scenario compared to part 1 though it is busy still so keep your eyes peeled on the signals. This is not based on a real life event and I am not sure how much of the route Thameslink drivers sign in real life, I think they at least sign up to Lewes, not sure about beyond, and is set here and now. The scenario should take about 30 minutes and requires NO custom liveries. The required dlc is: East Coastway Brighton Mainline BR Class 700 Here is the Creators Club link And here are my screenshots: Please give me any feedback and I hope you enjoy the scenario.
Problem that I have with this is knowing where these stations are since they don't show up in the map if a stop is not planned. I have actually thought of stopping everywhere.
That's the thing without the paths to allow stopping at those stations hence why I added 2 different durations in the same description (1 if you skipped the extra stops like the game wants you to and another if you chose to stop at the extra stations for realism) for the two above scenarios
i agree, especially for people who don’t know the route hudless it’s impossible to stop at stations that aren’t marked. Maybe Joethefish could work his magic with new paths, who knows
Like I said, it was well worth it. The scenario was really enjoyable and I’d recommend people to try it, they won’t be disappointed
Everyone is setting such a high standard, but this is a great little route, and plenty of AI despite the limitations, a very enjoyable ride on one of my favourite routes. Although, I thought you’d got me again with the last red light waiting to get into Brighton, but after an anxious minute or two I got the green ! Scenario planner is my go-to place now. Just trying to find the time now to get through everyone’s stuff. Big thumbs up to everyone for such good work.
