With the recent "Winter Core Update 1," there were changes to the UI. Mostly welcome ones, but, as usual, several things were broken in the process. Here's a small graphic I put together. The UI feels like it was made by two different people who didn't exchange previous work with each other, so I outlined a couple of easy-to-fix things which should help remedy this. I hope this is helpful. One thing I forgot to put on the graphic: the "yd" distance isn't capitalised. The "MI" is. Again, internal inconsistency. There is no "UI feedback" thread in the "Player Feedback" section, so I'm posting it here.
Great points. I gave some detailed feedback yesterday, especially on the incorrect distances where zero meters on the actual track doesn’t equal zero meters in the Track Monitor. Huge step back from the previous iteration and reduces the overall confidence in the HUD during gameplay. I‘m sure a fix is not too hard considering it behaved correctly before the update.
With that statement, I was merely referring to the fact that the distance to signals in the Track Monitor is no longer correct anymore now. Overall, I still think the changes are huge improvements, and I think that was reflected in my linked feedback from yesterday.
Have you or anyone else noticed that when you turn off the track monitor and change route it turns on again
