When train is in neutral on the reverser, DSD alarm goes off when standing up still. Not prototypical to the 801 as neutral should stop this happening. XSX Class 801
I have noticed some DSD weirdness in 395 during standstill, since some units do beep when you stand up even when train doesnt move (801, 170 I think and maybe 323, havent tested 313 yet), so here is what I found: 1. 377+387s, also 375 and 385 - DSD on + vig off/on = nothing happens 2. 465, Azuma, 170 - DSD on + vig on = beep both at train moving and during standstill if you stand up 3. 395 - vig default on + DSD on = beeps only when train moves, not during standstill not sure if the DSD is implemented differently in those machines or just DTG's different implementation of DSD I mean, doesnt affect my gameplay that much as I dont usually stand up even when in station, but still, my OCD is killing me for this

DSD & DVD are kinda similar in how the work but how it works in the 465 for example is how it works prototypically and how it should work for most of the modern trains we have. DVD will always go off every 60 seconds (unless you touch a control) and will only be silenced when you put the reverser in neutral (this is what drivers do irl when they stop). The DSD will so be silenced when you put the reverser in neutral too (so you can go for a stroll without be screamed at).
for me 801 safety stuff works... sometimes too well lol... but in 313 you sometimes basically have to remember to periodically push the Q button... cos sometimes it looks like it gives you warning, sometimes not...
ok, so I tested stuff in free roam... 313, after 60 seconds of doing nothing, just gives you penalty brake application without warning... so you basically have to count or just periodically push Q / do anything to avoid it... ok I guess I wont be playing too much with this lol
DSD is broke, it’s not meant to go off in neutral for the 801 And I think it’s vigilance or something doesn’t acknowledge on the 313 or something like that.
