Hiya, What Depot moves does the HST have in the Sprinter Timetable that could be made playable? We'll certainly look to make them available if they exist. There has been a lot of interest to make the HST more accessible. Something we did not anticipate. The Class 170 currently has 1 out of and then back into Haymarket ECS. We are talking with Rivet about improvements to Haymarket Depot to make this location more accessible. We will look into the HST services not having PIS data on station screens. That data has certainly been implemented to the same level as player services. We are aware of issues with the departure screens at Edinburgh not being entirely reliable, something again, we are talking with Rivet about improving. We could only provide the data in the timetable. The functionality of the PIS screens is entirely under the control of Rivet Games. What exactly is fake about the Sprinter timetable? Its been entirely built from RTT data captured earlier this year. If you could point out what is fake, we can look to resolve if appropriate. With regard to the OG timetable, that is Rivet Games content that is not for us to edit and change. If they chose not to include the HST in their timetable, only they can explain why.
I do apologise if anyone else has already mentioned this, but I noticed the logo decals on the side look as though they're peeling off the unit, they even cast a shadow! The only issues I've found thus far has been the above mentioned, the in-cab headlight display issue and the GSM-R not working - the latter two I know have been mentioned. (I'm on Xbox Series S)
Journey Mode service 1R11 Edinburgh-Glasgow Queen Street cannot be completed. I am spawned in an incomplete 1-car Class 158 formation with a "Wait for a moment" objective that never advances. The service cannot be progressed or completed.
That must be Service Mode, which starts at 17:44:00 and does work. In Journey Mode, the start time is 06:44:00 and has the problems I mentioned above.
I can confirm this, the service starts with the front car of the 158, the rear car is completely missing. If you press T, it only says "on foot", no further information. The journey cannot be completed without a fix. (PC, Steam) However, I am impressed that the closed roller blind is modeled.
Hmm interesting. Looking in the timetable there are two 1R11 services and they are both allocated to Class 385s. Will look more into this.
Are there AI services from Edinburgh to Dundee (1tph), Leven (1tph), Glasgow Central (2tph), Inverness (5tpd), and North Berwick (2tph)? Also from Glasgow QS there should also be services to Cumbernauld (1tph), Falkirk Grahamston (1tph), Dundee (1tph), and Mallaig/Oban (6tpd).
When you shut down the engines and restart it back up you lose all lights and electrics this is a bug . Also I can get a video of it as well.
Obviously something they need to fix. It’s my one gripe with the train (actually that’s a lie, incorrect display on the headlight proving and GSMR only working once you max the brightness as well)
For me Edinburg Glasgow + Five circle (+ the new leven branch) should be 1 merged map with 1 timetable. The scotrail conent releases were so close, so a bit of planning and working together between the devs would be required to plan ahead. Probably many players see it different, but tsw is still very much tries to be tsc. Seems the powerful benefit of a network is not seen and the ferrari continues to be powered by a fiat engine... (Rivet seems even have built even fife circle out of the e2g map. Very very shortsighted.
Hi Everyone, Just to let you know we have 'fixed' the GSMR display (the brightness issue). We're also adding additional data to the timetable to be displayed on the panel while we work on making more of the AI trains accessible to drive. We believe the odd intermediate corridor issue is a console build problem as this issue does not occur on PC versions as far as we can tell. The headlight repeater panel is putting up a good fight and may require us to completely ditch the artwork/setup for it and start again from fresh. TPWS override button going into the wall is also fixed. Regarding the comment that E2G and Fife should have been one route because they released so close together, the former was released in January 2023, and the latter March 2024. There are at least 4 other route pairs in TSW that share a common station so this is not a unique situation.
Hi their Luca thank you very much for your response. I will definitley look on RTT. Regarding the 158 timetable apologies didn't know this was an actual thing tbh. I looked on RTT and they are all operated by 385s so apologies if any offence was caused. So HST playable depot moves; Haymarket 5A79-0904 Haymarket depot to Edinburgh 5H17-12:58 Haymarket depot to Edinburgh 5B24- 1341 Edinburgh to Haymarket depot 5A78-1507-Haymarket depot to Edinburgh 5H19-1912-Haymarket depot to Edinburgh 5T93-2100- Glasgow Queen Street to Haymarket Depot (This one I know players would love) 5B44- 2245 Edinburgh to Haymarket Depot Eastfield H.S 5A78- 0520 Eastfield H.S To Glasgow Queen Street 5T09- 0911 Glasgow Queen Street to Eastfield H.S This information I found on Realtime Trains and Date was 1st August 2024 Hope this helps.
Hiya, Thanks for getting back. Your original message: The list you provide doesn't sound like they are in the Sprinter Timetable but are services you would like included. Seven of the listed services involve Haymarket Depot which is not currently accessible, something we are talking with Rivet Games about in the hope of getting it remedied. The route is not made by Skyhook Games, so we can only work with what is provided. We will look at Eastfield depot again but I believe over the timetable reset point (3 or 4am) this depot is already full of stock and so adding HSTs may not be possible. Regards
Oh ofc. Thanks for getting back to me, sorry for the long delay been busy and not been active on here. But anyways. Love the 158 you have done. IS the cab meant to be that bright by any chance? It just feels so clean. That is all can't think of much other feedback
Hello Adam, the HST services at the Glasgow end either use Eastfield H.S. or use Cadder HST Depot (between Bishopbriggs and Lenzie) for stabling and maintenance if it helps These are an example coming from each depot: Realtime Trains | 5A47 0520 Eastfield H.S. to Glasgow Queen Street | 01/08/2024 Realtime Trains | 5A51 0700 Cadder HST Depot to Glasgow Queen Street | 01/08/2024 I can understand if Eastfield is too full at that stage in the morning on the Sprinter TT but I'm sure Cadder could be a viable alternative if Rivet have made it accessible already?
The lighting panel is bugged. The one headlight will always turn red or go off completely when headlights are switched on. I am playing on XBOX Series X / S
This is more regarding the HST sets in the Sprinter timetable is it at possible to set up HST's so they can use CC liveries? As using CC liveries only works when the player spawns a train, none of the AI ones use the liveries.
Hello! I did post this before and still has not got a reply. My 158s for ScotRail look abit odd.. the walkways stick out. Not the gangways but the walkway. This doesn't happen for any other train. Ive done everything. Uninstalled it and reinstalled it yet nothing works. This just may be an issue with my Xbox one but it may not. Here is some evidence/proof. Now as seen above you can see this. It's a bit too late to report it but I was wondering if it could be fixed?
Thanks for the report. We are indeed looking into this. With TSW5 working its way through the DTG systems there is no opportunity yet for us to release any service updates, but we have been working on improvements following feedback since release, so as to be ready as soon as DTG are ready to accept updates from us.
Bit of a mix up I've found. The TPWS Train Stop Override light is for some reason the yellow signaller button. The doors released light is the TPWS override light for some reason. The sander and the red emergency GSMR call button are also lighting up when it should be the other TPWS buttons illuminating.
We all know it's a carriage (duhh). That should really say hello I'm carriage no. (Inset number here) Like on the 380 dtg made. Etc etc. Could you please replicate this? Thanks, Nathan.
I think an awful lot of credit has to go to the team at Skyhook for the work done on the Edinburgh-Glasgow timetable. Obviously the Class 158 was supposed to layer onto Fife Circle on release, but having spent some time on E2G with the new Class 158 timetable, the difference is absolutely massive using the latest Skyhook timetable. A lot of care and attention to detail has really made this route feel so much more alive when the updated Fife Circle timetable comes around I really hope we can see something similar, and when the time comes i'd love to see a breakdown of all the services coming to Fife exactly like what is shown here for E2G so really credit where it's due here, thank you to Skyhook for really bringing new life into this route.. i just really hope we can look forward to something similar with the new Fife Circle timetable soon!
The “Alternator Exictation” button isn’t simulated on the SCR 158, meaning when you start up the engine from a cold start, you have no interior lights, compared to the EMT Class 158, where Alternator Excitation is Simulated.
Seem to be stuck on a red on the Fife Circle scenario which is an ECS move to Haymarket. I’ve reached Haymarket and then swapped ends to head back to the depot but the red is as you start heading to the depot. Checked the map and all the surrounding area seems to be stuck on reds too.
LucaZone - just bought the 158, E2G and FCL in the PS sale. Really enjoying the 158, quite fun driving in the snow too with the wheelslip to account for. E2G is really good with the sprinter timetable too. This may have been announced and I may have missed it, or it may still be to be announced in which case I'm happy to wait - but I had some questions: 1. I understand there is a new timetable in the works for FCL incorporating the 158. When this releases; a. Will there be 801s on the route drivable between EDB and HAY please (example https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:C47423/2024-11-23/detailed#allox_id=0 https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:C47154/2024-11-23/detailed#allox_id=1) b. Will the new timetable be a free upgrade to those with the FCL and SCR 158, or does it come bundled with the rail-link livery please? And has there been an announced price for the rail-link livery please? I've gone through all the DTG Live articles but couldn't see anything. Thanks
From what I understand, the Leven 158 livery is a free addition when the timetable is released, I don't think the 801 will be driveable but will be included as AI north of Edinburgh. The timetable is a free addition for those who have the ScotRail DLC pack.
Thanks for explaining. Really hope they do make it drivable. AFAIK there are some EDB to HAY runs in something on one of the Scottish routes
Hiya, We ran into lots of issues while developing the Sprinter timetable for the Fife Circle route and so this is currently delayed while we work on other projects. It is still intended to be released. In the mean time all of the other updates completed for the ScotRail Class 158 are with DTG for final testing and release. This includes the Leven Rail Link livery, fully working Guard Mode and an further expanded Edinburgh to Glasgow timetable plus a whole host of further work following player feedback since release.
It does appear in the soon to be updated E2G timetable (operating to Leven) but it is not used in the included scenarios. It was intended to play a central role in the Sprinter timetable for FC, but this is not yet available. As it is a unique livery applied to just one unit (158719) it has not been setup to sub into other Class 158 formations so as not to appear all over the place.
When you say expanded, will it include all the Scotrail layers? (158, 170, 380, 385). I include the 380 as the era you set it in with the GWR HSTs, still had the odd 380 showing up at Waverley (North Berwick services and services leaving at Haymarket).
