PlayStation Maps Keeps Crashing

Hi my son plays TSW and has been for a while now, and yesterday he went to play and it updated to 2020, and then he went to click on the maps and each time he clicked it, it would crash. Is there any known issues with the new update and the maps? He thinks its because he skipped the tutorial. Thanks

 

You got the blue screen with the PS4 errror message or the games just freezes? Some routes and locations may cause the game to freeze for a couple seconds to a minute, but then map show up and you are able to continue. I suggest you report this bug with details (route, location etc) on https://dovetailgames.kayako.com/
More people reporting, more likely they will fix it.

 

Blue screen with suggested and report. we've reported it. but it happens every time he clicks the map to start.

 

It's the 2020 version? I would suggest reinstalling the game, I didn't have any crashes when opening the map, yet.

 

will he lose his saved data if we reinstall it? thanks

 

reinstalled it but it's still having the same problems. and he's lost maps and routes from the previous game.

 

Have a look in the library section of the PS4 menu. Any DLC for the game should show in there and be able to be downloaded.

 

Its not only ps4 having the map issue. I pressed the map Button while driving on northern trans pennine and the game froze. Im on xbox

 

Hi, I went there but doesn't say anything needs downloading, it just says it's installed.

 

we did a rebuild of the ps4, but when putting tsw back on, it did the same error thing again.

 

Don't think you're alone in this, probably worthwhile raising a support ticket.
