TV and the Inter are on the same circuit as the computer
Microwave and other kitchen stuff are all on their own circuit
In the previous apartment everything, including the bedroom was on the same circuit, except for the stove, and nothing was happening
Playing TSW4 never gave any issue, but TSW5, well you all know the result
As for the previous suggestion to use TSW4, I can not as it was removed as soon as TSW5 was installed

You know, instead of blaming TSW5 like you are doing, look for the root cause.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that TSW5 is not the problem. How could it be, when you've said yourself (in this very thread) that another game is more powerful but doesn't blow any fuses. How could it be, when literally no one else seems to be having this issue. That doesn't make sense.

To give my honest opinion, the fact you're on here actively trying to blame TSW5 and DTG for blowing fuses in your electrics comes across as trolling and trying to cause trouble for the sake of causing trouble. Surely there are better ways to spend your time?

I think this thread is very entertaining for a rather dull weekend.

Decades ago when I was in school, poor as a churchmouse, I lived in an apartment where you couldn't have more than one or two major kitchen appliances on at the same time or else an old fashioned fuse would blow.

For instance, in order to make toast I would have to switch off the microwave or the coffee pot. It made breakfast a complicated balancing act.

If I made a mistake, I would have to venture into a dark basement to replace the fuse. This was a pain in the ass if it happened at night.

And I had to make sure I always had a supply of fuses or I'd be s.o.l.

Don't think they sell those things any more, they're rather like vacuum tubes.

    Ah, memories.

And pointless insults like this is how you get a thread locked.

I had one like this also, except we had circuit breakers. I remember being the one who tripped it one time, when my coffee percolator switched from brewing to keeping warm. Started turning off the AC (and making sure not to have the microwave running) before making coffee.

It probably should be locked, deleted or moved to Off Topic. The guy's problem is obviously nothing to do with TSW5, just seems to be trolling for a bit of attention. Once again exactly why the forum should not be left unmoderated between 1700 GMT Friday and 0900 GMT Monday.

Yeah, come to think of it TSW has the power to blow my circuits from time to time. :D:D

    if not trolling...
i once selled a house that had 4 circuit breakers:
    1: 6-8 points
    2: 6-8 points
    3: 6-8 points
    4: 26 points
    Older houses can have this.
rat7_mobile is it the circuit braker or ground that goes off?

when it's only your tv and internet and pc , this isn't possible without an electric defect
and do what Matt tell you

The only fuses TSW can blow are the ones in the DB BR 101 expert :)

He said it is a "brand-new" house...

But as many have pointed out, without an extremely dangerous hardware defect, it is by plain physics just not possible to break the power circuit just on a software... If I were him, I wouldn't turn on the PC or any electrical device on that circuit without an electrician looking into it beforehand... If this is a true story

PS: Let's do the math: With a 16 Ampere circuit breaker and 230V you need 3680 Watt output to break it... Even a 2500W vacuum cleaner running, a TV, some lights, and a high-end rig on full power wouldn't be enough to do that. Let alone TSW5... lol

If the OP wants to believe that it is TSW5 that’s causing a breaker to trip (which he first reported as all the breakers in his apartment tripping) then that’s up to him. We know that it isn’t but this person will likely not listen to anything anyone tells him and has quite the history on the forum.

As for what the actual issue is, nobody here will ever find out from his posts. It could be something as simple as a plug not fully inserted into a socket or something as major as a faulty appliance or a faulty component somewhere in the power chain (which could easily be the apartment’s wiring even if it’s a new build). We have no way of knowing.

Hopefully, he will take the proper advice and get an expert in.

This post is kind of laughable, to be honest. To suggest that its DTGs fault for the breakers in your apartment to be getting tripped is crazy. Especially when you list other games that use much more energy than TSW5 not tripping your breakers. What will DTG be blamed for next?

lol, my house isn't even grounded, and I hear buzzing noises in my headphones because of it, sounds like the Br185 actually, never experienced anything like this, though.

A rule for using these forums. Don't take anything seriously. TSW is for entertainment, so are the forums.

Oh yeah, I’ve been on here for a while now and unfortunately, I’ve learned this all too well. But even still, a post comes along that still manages to surprise me. This one definitely falls in that category.

Probably DTG’s fault by releasing a patch on purpose to trip circuit breakers, I agree with the OP.

I had the same issue with another developer (Rockstar Games) who deliberately mislead me on GTA Online, by putting the wrong icon on the map, I went inside the shoe shop and I knew it looked weird inside but I stayed in.

My girlfriend saw me and we had an argument ! Very cheeky from them to put a shoe icon on something which is different from what it meant at first.

Phew ! I had a stroke reading this, I’ve read 3 posts but it was too much after.

Seen this far too often. Screwed, glued into the closed position. Did a house once with the plug in fuse type consumer board, where the fuses was replaced with chopped down drill bits!!!

The newer type mcb's are very sensitive. When a light bulb blows it trips them.
One of your pc components is probably tripping the psu which in turn is tripping the mcb!

I would get your pc looked at ASAP!

Open the link again, go straight to the last post, and read the threads linked in that post.

Sit back and have a good read (there's also some useful information hidden there).

Closing this thread as the conversation is off-topic at best. Electrical failures are a hardware issue, and no one here is qualified to give advice. rat7_mobile please contact a qualified electrician.
