If so the workaround is to completely disable TPWS just before it (Temporary isolate doesn't seem to work iirc) and then re-enable it once across it. This is a DTG issue not anything to do with the Enhancement Pack apparently.

 

Yes it does, and the reasoning there not in install the TT is crazy in my opinion. It doesn’t bug the original timetable (and it isn’t really a bug anyway) so to not install something that is literally light years ahead of what came with the route is bordering on the nonsensical.

 

I am running with HAGS on but does not seem to degrade my performance with my new system.

 

FWIW I’ve turned HAGS and Windowed Optimisations off. They don’t need to be on for Lossless Scaling (the do for traditional hardware based Frame Gen) and TSW is definitely running smoother

 

Faxw's WCML 2024 TT is a very high-quality product, and it makes WCMLS more busier and more realistic. However, I noticed that some 350 services in this TT require more AP to gain medal compared to default TT even that they have the same paths and traveling distances. As a result, some ECS services may become unable to get platinum medals, and here is an example.

In Fawx's 2024 TT, 5Y32 has one more objective, however it won't provide AP, and since the path and traveling distance remain unchange, the medal requirement score shouldn't be change.

It also happended on some 390 services like service 5S37 from Wembley Inter City Depot to London Euston.

So that could be the reason I got a gold when I ran 5T08 yesterday.

 

Yep, I turned it off last night after reading this thread and it basically removed the really bad lag spikes I was having in high AI density areas. Absolutely, definitely one to keep off lol

JetWash, to me, reading this thread on HAGS, it seems to depend on what specs your computer has, As noted, mine is on but really don't see any great issues in game. Kinda like loss scaling, I do not see any benefit to my system of installing it.

I’d agree with that. HAGS always caused issues (like stuttering) but was a requirement to use proper frame generation, and with the frame gen mod for RTX cards that was made for FS2020 it was also needed. IIRC you’re on a 4090 so it’s no surprise you have no problems, if HAGS doesn’t work with that card it would work with nothing at all!

 

I couldn't tell you what "level" I am or what "points" I have or anything like that. They don't do anything so not sure what they're for.

 

The score thresholds are all auto generated in the editor, so not sure why it would require more.

Answer to your first question, don’t know but don’t count on it.

Answer to your second question, it’s not payware. I think your expectations are a long way out of whack with reality.

 

There was something I kinda got figured out as to why the 805 model didnt have the buffet after I asked this. Its much understandable and I hope I didn't offend or anything.

 

And question, am i missing something that the NMT is missing a couple 3D parts?

 

Been answered a number of times. Your in-game settings are too low and you need to up the effects quality for it to show.

And as for the thing i figured for the 805. Did the 805 directly use the 5 car 801 model and did a retexture?

 

I’m genuinely intrigued as to what else you thought it was?

 

Update 5 is now released with a number of changes listed below. I’ve also made this video to show the changes and the next iteration of the timetable where all DC line services (710 and Underground stock) are in. There are times here you have to take a second and remember this is a sim because it does, on occasion, look photo-realistic. The timetable is amazing, hopefully you’ll have it before too long.

Update notes for Update 5 | November 5th 2024

• Added Rail Driver support to all supplied trains
• Added significant amount of custom created (from freeware sources) graffiti. This is included and no further DLC is required
• Refined foliage in several places across the DC line
• Added some extra clutter in a few places
• Added textures from previous EP’s for container stacks, HGV’s, grit bins and commercial bins
• Tweaked a couple of environmental light positions
• Adjusted Billboards to reduce the same one appearing multiple times
• Renamed and sorted trains in menus
• Corrected the red anti-collision lights on the cranes as they rotate every time DTG update the route

Class 377/7

• Customised models to remove the GX luggage racks and replaced them with sideways-facing seats
• Fixed the coach side numbering so it is 100% accurate to the /7. Cab numbering is now correct too
• Speedometer now has the red line at 100mph instead of 110mph
• Fixed weather effects not showing correctly on the main part of the exterior
• Fixed a visual gap on the interior First Class doors and made the First Class window stickers visible on the interior
• Added red stripes to the rear doors of the PTS coach and moved the wheelchair sticker onto the doors closest to the wheelchair area, as per reality

 

At first (at least before I have ever downloaded the mod) i thought that the mod have somehow manage to do some model modification to the 801 model to somehow mostly replicate what the 805 is. Which is the case expect what i completely forgot was that the 5 car Class 801 was incorrectly depicted in game. As the second coach (or coach B) on the 5 car 801 and also on 805s that they supposely have a buffet carriage at the end of coach B, which in the game it wasn't case. And for some unknown reason I thought the buffet was correctly modified in by changing the 2nd carriage.

 

Is it OK to copy new version over previous one? I mean file names still the same nothing was removed/renamed?

 

Overwriting the existing files are fine yes. They all have the same names.

 

Absolutely, just extract and overwrite. All the file names are the same with the addition of a Part 4

 

That video was very enjoyable to watch. Just goes to show the difference a good timetable makes to a route and having the correct AI traffic. It makes it much more believable as a sim.

 

Incredible work, the only other thing we could do with is better speed signs for UK mainline routes, but I know that's something that can't be altered easily (yet).
The new ATS route has some realistic looking ones by the looks of it, hopefully all new UK routes will benefit.

 

Just completed a 350 run, 2K20, which is a wrapped 350. Runs fine now using the RD, via CobraOnes' interface, Getting great fps the entire run including Watford Junction and Euston. Question for Fawx, I do not see a updated tt beyond the one from the end of October.
As I have noted before, running a fairly new high end machine with 4090 video card.

 

As I said, the updated TT is not out yet.

Great work, I've experienced the pack for the first time today prior to today's update and it is really fantastic.

It's good to see that a large amount of custom stickers/models etc can be added to trains in a similar way to how TSC supports it - I'm very interested in learning how this is achieved and what limitations there are to what can be done and if there are any advantages over the TSC methods.

 

do 390 timetable services end so long?
I tried doing 1A80 with a 390, after arriving at Euston it takes ages to get the service to end.

Those are the Voyager services that are being run by the 390 in lieu of a 220 being available. The 390 is a lot faster than the voyager so you arrive early if you drive at line speed. You can either drive slower and arrive when scheduled or wait for the service to complete if early.

 

oooh- but since when did 221s ran between euston and manchester? The 1A80 i ran was from manchester to euston which stops at watford.

 

absolutely amazing what you’re doing right now for the TSW community. Putting right what should be done by the actual developer, but that’s too much of an affair for them in alignment with their laziness.

Since the new tt and station directory new pak files don't overwrite the old ones, I deleted them as a precaution.

 

They have to as they have the same file name. Mine certainly did.

 

JetWash, I again had a (1) at the end of the file name, so they did not overwrite. Guess I will go in and delete that (1). I am thinking that my computer does this since it sems to know that there is another file with same name, but other times its fine.

 

That’s because when you download the file you must be downloading it to a location where it already exists. In that instance it will create a duplicate with a (1) after it. If you DL to your desktop then cut and paste into the DLC folder it will overwrite.

 

Right, it went into my DL folder where there are the older versions. Thanks, now I know what is happening.

 

JetWash et al, thanks for the continuing updates to the EP and timetable, its looking busier and better than ever, AND (rather surprisingly) 2D56 and 2D98 LO services (of the previously crashing services I’ve tried so far) no longer crash the sim at the AWS ramp just before South Hampstead station!

 

Every train I've tried from Euston is empty and not a soul at the platforms. I suppose everyone just inside AI trains, so the game doesn't spawn a new ones?
DTG really need to do some work, like despawn passengers when player train are far away from them and spawn a new ones on platforms that are along the route in front of the player.

 

It’s totally broken to be honest. We think part of the problem is the 72 stock doesn’t unload when it goes to the depot and is full of passengers which is a bug with the train. There is a max number of passengers on the route at any one time and it obviously triggers almost straight away as it doesn’t seem to be de-spawning ones that are away from the player. God knows what Rivet did with this but it’s an absolute dog’s dinner frankly.

I’ve been playing around with it today and think I’ve found a balanced set of ini changes that will hopefully make it usable until the point DTG fix it. That may never happen obviously. I suggest you add these lines (and these lines only) to the GodMode ini on WCMLS. Putting passenger changes in the main ini will change every route which is definitely not what you want. Passenger ini settings seem to be in vogue at the minute but I can’t stress enough that it can wreck your game if you get the numbers wrong.

I spawned on foot into Euston at 7am and stood there for 55 minutes and didn’t see a drop in fps due to CPU bottlenecking. I can’t say you will see the same thing though as it obviously depends on your CPU. I tested this with an hour+ long 350 stopping service and saw a reasonable number of passengers at every station.

This is to be used with the latest version of the station directory which is on the TSC download page for the timetable (and which the TT requires!)
