Rhein-Ruhr Osten Bug Reports As I have not seen any thread for bug reports on the new Rhein-Ruhr Osten, feel free to use this one. I have one myself: I started off the BR 422 20:58 service towards Hagen. When stopping at the 2nd station (can't remember what name it is), after departing from the origin station, you encounter that the AI Doubledecker on the main route are stationary halfway off the platform with the doors open. It's quite a big station, so the train should be stopping further ahead so that the whole train is at the platform. Screenshots:
Have endeavoured to complete the Technical Difficulties Senario 6 times now and every time the train get applied, you I 've not had the subtitles appear telling there has been a problem with the pantograp and its reset. Which means after pressing the brake rest button, raise the pantograp and close the MCG, your able to get going and go via the next location on the map. However when you go via the location it does not register and still shows go vía the location.
I have encountered the same bug. I believe I've also found the reason for this bug: According to the task log, you are supposed to pass the location before the emergency brake gets activated, however in this scenario the order of those 2 tasks is reversed. Therefore the emergency brake gets activated too early and the game gets confused. I have not yet tried simply going further, but will do so later today and update if this fixes anything
I encountered some issues in the "Technical Difficulties" scenario. When passing the checkpoint at Ennepetal station, it won't complete so the scenario will not continue to the next checkpoint. It stands "Go via" and not "Stop at" in the taskbar. In the same scenario, the second issue is after I have left Hagen Hbf, some minutes later when suddenly the emergency brakes get activated. Could be the scenario, but I don't know.
Same bug Dougal and I have. The emergeny brakes are supposed to activate after you pass Ennepetal, but they get triggered too early, way before that waypoint. This bugs the scenario
Bug 1: When changing the FIS / PIS, there is one textfield that says "Leerfahrt zum Betribswerk". There is an 'e' missing, so it should be "Leerfahrt zum Betriebswerk". Bug 2: In the "Ruhrlauf" scenario, I got a "v-Überwachung -1 km/h". That's not possible afaik. Idk where this happened, but the situation was like this: Got 500 Hz because signal behind station is red. While the doors were open, the signal became green. After passing the signal, I got this:
Sadly didn't work for me. Started the scenario from the main menu got my early emergency brakes and restarted the scenario using the reset button on the pause menu, just like you described. It did however delay the appliance of the emergency brakes for about 2 kilometers, so it did something. Still, way too early
I have come across two oddities... the first is the distorted catenary support (I've forgotten where) The second is this solitary signal at the end of a siding in Hagen... Neither of them are show stoppers. Although the signal might become one should we ever get a diesel to access the sidings..
Managed to complete the senario in journey mode, however the senario part did not trigger the message about pantograp failure.
Hello, I hope this is the right thread for this: km 132,8 - 133,0 in the direction of Hagen between Eneppetal and Hagen
I have not been able to get this scenario (Technical Difficulties) to work no matter what I try -- Like others the above fix does not work for me, but does seem to delay the emergency brake application a few minutes latter in the scenario but not late enough to get past the second 'Go Via" at Ennepetal. would like to hear from any others who have successfully completed this scenario.
I know Technical Difficulties is a known one. Strangely though I can complete that directly in the scenarios list but if I try it through Journeys I get the issue same as everyone else with the missing info about the pantograph fault. The other thing is, and I'm not sure if this is a fault, the BR185.5 is very noisy in cab and I don't always hear a response when I acknowledge a SIFA or PZB
I have this issue, too. In every DLC. I think this is a problem with the audio pipeline. To me it seems like there can only be X simultaneously sounds and when there is X+1 that sound won't be played. Dunno ...
I was having a look for collectables (started at Hagen and walked the whole S-bahn route which was very nice) and around Langerfeld Yard area I fell through the floor. Couldn't get back to the line anywhere so had a mosey around the houses etc. This was on PS4 but as we were adding issues to this thread I posted here TrainSim-Dmitri TrainSim-Matt
I did that scenario yesterday. I have absolutely no idea how I got the train rolling again ... after 5 minutes I put up both pentos from the first loco if I remember correctly and then I could continue. I should read in the manual what would be the correct way since I always have problems with "I don't know what I'm doing" when there's more than one loco involved ;-)
Tried this, same result: Now the scenario can be completed. So it seems the cause for this bug is activated PCB (or SIFA).
So, what I've encountered is that the BR146.2(, BR143) and DoStos travelling to Wuppertal have set their destination boards to "Nicht Einsteigen". Also if you drive those trains and press the "current train destination" button, "Nicht Einsteigen" is selected.
I managed to complete this scenario just recently (although I did not try it via Journey mode). If I recall correctly, I got the emergency brake application by the scenario way too early, while going up the incline before Ennepetal station. Got the train going again, but saw that the emergency brake application task in the task list (T key) was still grayed out. So, for lack of any better ideas, I decided to try just hitting the emergency brakes on by myself and the scenario seemed to be happy with that. Can't remember what point exactly I did that, but I think it was after passing Ennepetal station. After that, I was able to continue the scenario and complete it.
Just had this happen recently (I think it used to work ok before): The routing on the map when choosing a service for DB BR 422 shows the regional branch via Ennepetal instead of the S-Bahn line. Once in the game, train will take the proper route, though, so it is only the map that's affected. All services I checked showed similar routing. Interestingly, I saw Matt commenting about a similar issue on the upcoming Duisburg-Bochum during the pre-release stream.
I noticed this one too. I guess they didn't implement the Regional Express Lines, the only reason the RE in the other direction to Hagen has a destination board, is because it has been already there for RSN. I really hope they will fix this.
Hello the scenario "technical difficulties" was never fixed???? Still have the problem on TSW3 OMG Please DTG Team do you read somtimes this topic section???? DTG Matt DTG Alex
Looked at "Technical Difficulties" and could not find any technical difficulties other than those intended. What exactly is your problem in this scenario?
Actually the train has an emergency stop and it is impossible for me to make the pantograph high again. I can do it but the power doesn't not come. (The line on the screen stays red) The train just does not react. I tried different things with breaks, forward backward position tool etc. Nothing works
Look to your left and release the red emergency button which is not mentioned in the scenario. After that, there should be no further problems.
I forgot one small issue, you can't shunt the defective 185.5 backwards to the siding, it always wants to go forward. So you have to change the cabs to reach the siding and park it.
