    She’s done:)

390 031 ‘Eric Laithwaite’ (Front) and ‘Earith’ (End unit).

To finally make and share this work to help people that may not know of the RTV31 or its story is a real pleasure.
The men and teams who achieved success only for the plug to be pulled in the government spending cuts of 1973.
A waste, and lost advantage over other countries also experimenting with newer technologies you could say.
When Britain was a main leader in many forms of technical innovation be rail transportation or the aircraft industry.

In some ways looking back a time of when British people had pride in their countries technical achievements.
Great minds from Manchester University, and Professor Eric Laithwaite. Pushing forward building towards a brighter future for the transportation system.

Has all that been lost now.
If so I can see and with the R200 project support that core mission of Railway 200.
    And always have.

To Inspire the minds of today for tomorrow to create new visions of what’s possible.
The newer generation of visionaries to follow in their dreams like those of past.
Building a new world with pride and passion.

    To make Britain great again.

This livery is dedicated to those minds behind the RTV31 and its strory.

    LMS time.

    IMG_6092.jpeg IMG_6094.jpeg IMG_6087.jpeg IMG_6088.jpeg IMG_6075.jpeg
A reskin for the class 390/1 focused on the LMS Streamlined locomotives of that era.
With this one I decide to opt for a different name over using past generic names and so has some meaning.
“Coronation Unite” I feel that as a nation such events are more than what some parts of society understand and so would I be wrong in saying that it’s about duties. Duties of a King to his people and Unite us. Something politics can’t achieve.
A Coronation of our new King would mean He is defender of the Crown the nation and we his people unite to stand beside our King, our country. I know the nation feels lost at the moment, yet with the project theme mostly being centred around the past 200 years of rail history then one pattern remains. Our past history has railways at the heart of it.

Be in times of joy and happiness to ones of war and hard times. Even today I hear them slipping through the night, always there keeping the nation on the move and its people connected. It’s our heritage our identity in a way.
Our Kings and Queens our past is our heritage. Both have a place in the nations hearts and so must be embraced even protected.

Looking into the Past, making changes in the Present, to advance into the Future, Together.
Strong and Proud like the great men of the last 200 years over coming challenges to build a better world we all live in today.
Why rub all that out when it can embraced and celebrated on the run up to this September;)

Right, now where is that cement mixer and my X-ray eyes:).

    ✌.

    Formations in the works.

A wave good bye to the past.
    Thought about the present.
    Now for the future.

    Together?. IMG_6157.jpeg IMG_6158.jpeg IMG_6159.jpeg IMG_6160.jpeg

More information on correct stock and confusing DLC identification. Ie MK1 RMB for MK3 TSO.

    And now for the second.
    IMG_6172.jpeg IMG_6173.jpeg IMG_6171.jpeg
For this Formation all Units and the coaches are available labelled under TSLP/C with the denoting id number relating to coach for ease of reference. Not TOPS based yet is included in the description.
DLC Descriptions. There is some confusion on codes. When originally working on the first batch for Formation B they were tagged as MK3s TSO. Yet since purchases the class 86 loco add on a few things have changed. I now find my work under the codes you see in the photos.
MK1 RMB. A very odd situation and one I’m still getting familiar with on creating the formations shared here.

Moving on from that will be Formation A. It too will be the same once 7 cars are released individually.
There will be some spares, for any users who would like to mix and match to create their own formations. All are set up and good to go starting with C1 to C20 ending this batch of series in the current format.

All are technically a stop gap as these class 43s and Mk3 were handed out under a team environment. Sadly nothing came to fruition and so these sets wasn’t planned how they should have been in duplication of a really complicated theme to carry over to each coach.
Time is short now so time to adapt.

    A new start, new look:)

Good bye the past, hello future.

    Rigsby.

With the Coronation 390, I can already hear the Coronation Scot in my head, which seems amusing.

Hello again Folks, been a while and man a lot is going on behind the scenes.

Now for all that’s been following this thread and what the original Project was set up for ended a while back.
The project turned into a one man band of sorts. Continuing with what I’d be doing if I hadn’t taken individuals on board.
I felt on my own I could focus and get back to an even keel so to speak. Re arranging the lose end and time frame.
To some degree I have managed to achieve that, yet to fully meet some goals on the scenario front I would still need a scenario member.

To do this I set up a thread to understand what would be the best way in finding willing members that are interested in working on Railway 200 theme material, be in a team setting or project based. Yet is a Project title necessary, something a community member raised and so did get me thinking.
Yet the main reason for the thread is or was shall I say a last ditch attempt at finding some assistance at this late stage to help on the scenario side. Again an opportunity on the run up to S&DR200 event, the big day I like to call it. 27th September 1825, and what does DTG have lined up for that date.

Sadly and rather laughable that thread has given me all the information I need.
With that information I have my answers, I can fully commit to myself and the simple ideas I had all those months ago.

To create something unique, meaningful and to celebrate as an individual the Railway 200.

And what the very core of what both Railway 200 and S&DR200 represent.

A time of great joy and achievement on the opening of the Stockton and Darlington Railway, the birth of modern railways.

Achievement. My answer is what did I achieve and more importantly what did you or we as a community achieve?.
Because I push, and I wanted my team mates to push so when this great day came we all could be proud on what we achieved.
No matter how hard. It gets done for the benefit of others.

Just like the men that did what they did for the benefit of others.
Work and stick at something even when the doubters laughed. They pushed on regardless.

My Inspiration, my beacon. Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

And that’s that for now folks;)

Hi Folks it’s just a quick one for something has come to my attention. This is a user called Beckton has used Ilovetrains#6920 and my work also.

Here I would like to say I’m so delighted to see a user having a play, even pulling some sets together that are Railway 200 themed.
That’s what it all about mixing it and having some fun. Doesn’t have to be real world stuff all the time. What’s fun about the real world.
Again TSW offers an escape from the grind of day to day existing, plus way for me to enjoy creating work for users like Beckton and Ilovetrains to enjoy as real enthusiasts or just for fun.

I have tried to find these two superstars, yet don’t look like there on here under those name tags anyway.
So boys or girl if you happen to find this message then thank you for having a good play around with both ILT and my work.

Before I go tho this came to mind. A thank you and something special for a kind act.
Nothing much, just a play around. IMG_6698.jpeg

So again I’d like to say thank you to the Beckton & ILT and to any reader that pass by.

    Bye for now folks.

    Rigbsy.

Hello again, only me with a few treats.

Managed to find my X ray glasses and over come Edward Paxman's Engine or should I say the Valenta V12. IMG_7164.jpeg IMG_7120.jpeg IMG_7131.jpeg
A Nod to the Man behind the company and the much loved 12RP200L Valenta that powered all early HST sets. Most notably that lovely sound of the turbos.

43 044 Is Owned By the 125 Group and is named after the brainchild behind the evolution of early diesel designs ‘Edward Paxman’
The obvious choice to recreate a special livery or reskin for Railway 200 and of course what it’s all been leading up to, the Stockton and Darlington Railway 200 events.

To make up a matching set then here the 125 Group owns 43 048 and is named T.C.B. Miller MBE’. Terry Miller the British Rail Chief Engineer at their Traction and Rolling Stock leading the teams behind the HST’s development.
Again a name vital to the success of the HST sets.

    IMG_7169.jpeg IMG_7142.jpeg
I couldn’t place much detail in the engine because of decal limits so a basic layout is all I could think of to avoid any problems or unnecessary delays later on.

Speaking of delays then I a few issues in formation designer on TSW4 has put these to units back meaning I may have to release them as seen and worry about formations later on. A lot to do still as you will see shortly.

So on that note I’d like to show my appreciation to what the 125 Group do and by me creating something for Railway 200 and S&DR200 then these units and names mentioned are part of our past. By sprucing up 43 044 ‘Edward Paxman’ 43 048 ‘T.C.B. Miller MBE’ and to original design condition they can be part of something special. Something to remember.

Be now or for future generations. I feel it’s all about preserving that history and to celebrate it openly, and why there is more to come shortly.

    Bye for now;)

    ✌.

    Hello again,,

Okay a few shots of my latest Railway 200 and S&DR200 themed livery work.
The more demanding type of work, yet didn’t take as long as I’d thought. So starting the next soon as I’m done writing here.
I few things to play with first.

43 807 Ex 43 036 ‘GWR Swindon Works’ to sit with 43 838 ‘James Hurst’, GWR first driver and GWR oldest surviving class 29XX No 2807 that was built in 1906 at the Swindon Works. No 2807 was finally withdrawn in 1963 ending a 58 year old career for GWR before being sent for Scrap down in south Wales. Barry’s.
    IMG_7231.jpeg IMG_7232.jpeg
No 2807 survived Barry’s yard and the last to be recovered from to be fully restored. Now preserved and in working condition after a lengthy 29 year period and recent 10 Year overhaul at Toddington completed back in 2023.
No 2807 is owed by the Cotswold Steam Preservation Limited and holds many records for such class of locomotive.

More photos and news will be posted on full release.

That’s that for now folks. Enjoy the rest of the evening.

    Rigsby.
    ✌.
