    She’s done:)

390 031 ‘Eric Laithwaite’ (Front) and ‘Earith’ (End unit).

To finally make and share this work to help people that may not know of the RTV31 or its story is a real pleasure.
The men and teams who achieved success only for the plug to be pulled in the government spending cuts of 1973.
A waste, and lost advantage over other countries also experimenting with newer technologies you could say.
When Britain was a main leader in many forms of technical innovation be rail transportation or the aircraft industry.

In some ways looking back a time of when British people had pride in their countries technical achievements.
Great minds from Manchester University, and Professor Eric Laithwaite. Pushing forward building towards a brighter future for the transportation system.

Has all that been lost now.
If so I can see and with the R200 project support that core mission of Railway 200.
    And always have.

To Inspire the minds of today for tomorrow to create new visions of what’s possible.
The newer generation of visionaries to follow in their dreams like those of past.
Building a new world with pride and passion.

    To make Britain great again.

This livery is dedicated to those minds behind the RTV31 and its strory.

    LMS time.

    IMG_6092.jpeg IMG_6094.jpeg IMG_6087.jpeg IMG_6088.jpeg IMG_6075.jpeg
A reskin for the class 390/1 focused on the LMS Streamlined locomotives of that era.
With this one I decide to opt for a different name over using past generic names and so has some meaning.
“Coronation Unite” I feel that as a nation such events are more than what some parts of society understand and so would I be wrong in saying that it’s about duties. Duties of a King to his people and Unite us. Something politics can’t achieve.
A Coronation of our new King would mean He is defender of the Crown the nation and we his people unite to stand beside our King, our country. I know the nation feels lost at the moment, yet with the project theme mostly being centred around the past 200 years of rail history then one pattern remains. Our past history has railways at the heart of it.

Be in times of joy and happiness to ones of war and hard times. Even today I hear them slipping through the night, always there keeping the nation on the move and its people connected. It’s our heritage our identity in a way.
Our Kings and Queens our past is our heritage. Both have a place in the nations hearts and so must be embraced even protected.

Looking into the Past, making changes in the Present, to advance into the Future, Together.
Strong and Proud like the great men of the last 200 years over coming challenges to build a better world we all live in today.
Why rub all that out when it can embraced and celebrated on the run up to this September;)

Right, now where is that cement mixer and my X-ray eyes:).

    ✌.

    Formations in the works.

A wave good bye to the past.
    Thought about the present.
    Now for the future.

    Together?. IMG_6157.jpeg IMG_6158.jpeg IMG_6159.jpeg IMG_6160.jpeg

More information on correct stock and confusing DLC identification. Ie MK1 RMB for MK3 TSO.

    And now for the second.
    IMG_6172.jpeg IMG_6173.jpeg IMG_6171.jpeg
For this Formation all Units and the coaches are available labelled under TSLP/C with the denoting id number relating to coach for ease of reference. Not TOPS based yet is included in the description.
DLC Descriptions. There is some confusion on codes. When originally working on the first batch for Formation B they were tagged as MK3s TSO. Yet since purchases the class 86 loco add on a few things have changed. I now find my work under the codes you see in the photos.
MK1 RMB. A very odd situation and one I’m still getting familiar with on creating the formations shared here.

Moving on from that will be Formation A. It too will be the same once 7 cars are released individually.
There will be some spares, for any users who would like to mix and match to create their own formations. All are set up and good to go starting with C1 to C20 ending this batch of series in the current format.

All are technically a stop gap as these class 43s and Mk3 were handed out under a team environment. Sadly nothing came to fruition and so these sets wasn’t planned how they should have been in duplication of a really complicated theme to carry over to each coach.
Time is short now so time to adapt.

    A new start, new look:)

Good bye the past, hello future.

    Rigsby.

With the Coronation 390, I can already hear the Coronation Scot in my head, which seems amusing.

Hello again Folks, been a while and man a lot is going on behind the scenes.

Now for all that’s been following this thread and what the original Project was set up for ended a while back.
The project turned into a one man band of sorts. Continuing with what I’d be doing if I hadn’t taken individuals on board.
I felt on my own I could focus and get back to an even keel so to speak. Re arranging the lose end and time frame.
To some degree I have managed to achieve that, yet to fully meet some goals on the scenario front I would still need a scenario member.

To do this I set up a thread to understand what would be the best way in finding willing members that are interested in working on Railway 200 theme material, be in a team setting or project based. Yet is a Project title necessary, something a community member raised and so did get me thinking.
Yet the main reason for the thread is or was shall I say a last ditch attempt at finding some assistance at this late stage to help on the scenario side. Again an opportunity on the run up to S&DR200 event, the big day I like to call it. 27th September 1825, and what does DTG have lined up for that date.

Sadly and rather laughable that thread has given me all the information I need.
With that information I have my answers, I can fully commit to myself and the simple ideas I had all those months ago.

To create something unique, meaningful and to celebrate as an individual the Railway 200.

And what the very core of what both Railway 200 and S&DR200 represent.

A time of great joy and achievement on the opening of the Stockton and Darlington Railway, the birth of modern railways.

Achievement. My answer is what did I achieve and more importantly what did you or we as a community achieve?.
Because I push, and I wanted my team mates to push so when this great day came we all could be proud on what we achieved.
No matter how hard. It gets done for the benefit of others.

Just like the men that did what they did for the benefit of others.
Work and stick at something even when the doubters laughed. They pushed on regardless.

My Inspiration, my beacon. Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

And that’s that for now folks;)

Hi Folks it’s just a quick one for something has come to my attention. This is a user called Beckton has used Ilovetrains#6920 and my work also.

Here I would like to say I’m so delighted to see a user having a play, even pulling some sets together that are Railway 200 themed.
That’s what it all about mixing it and having some fun. Doesn’t have to be real world stuff all the time. What’s fun about the real world.
Again TSW offers an escape from the grind of day to day existing, plus way for me to enjoy creating work for users like Beckton and Ilovetrains to enjoy as real enthusiasts or just for fun.

I have tried to find these two superstars, yet don’t look like there on here under those name tags anyway.
So boys or girl if you happen to find this message then thank you for having a good play around with both ILT and my work.

Before I go tho this came to mind. A thank you and something special for a kind act.
Nothing much, just a play around. IMG_6698.jpeg

So again I’d like to say thank you to the Beckton & ILT and to any reader that pass by.

    Bye for now folks.

    Rigbsy.

Hello again, only me with a few treats.

Managed to find my X ray glasses and over come Edward Paxman's Engine or should I say the Valenta V12. IMG_7164.jpeg IMG_7120.jpeg IMG_7131.jpeg
A Nod to the Man behind the company and the much loved 12RP200L Valenta that powered all early HST sets. Most notably that lovely sound of the turbos.

43 044 Is Owned By the 125 Group and is named after the brainchild behind the evolution of early diesel designs ‘Edward Paxman’
The obvious choice to recreate a special livery or reskin for Railway 200 and of course what it’s all been leading up to, the Stockton and Darlington Railway 200 events.

To make up a matching set then here the 125 Group owns 43 048 and is named T.C.B. Miller MBE’. Terry Miller the British Rail Chief Engineer at their Traction and Rolling Stock leading the teams behind the HST’s development.
Again a name vital to the success of the HST sets.

    IMG_7169.jpeg IMG_7142.jpeg
I couldn’t place much detail in the engine because of decal limits so a basic layout is all I could think of to avoid any problems or unnecessary delays later on.

Speaking of delays then I a few issues in formation designer on TSW4 has put these to units back meaning I may have to release them as seen and worry about formations later on. A lot to do still as you will see shortly.

So on that note I’d like to show my appreciation to what the 125 Group do and by me creating something for Railway 200 and S&DR200 then these units and names mentioned are part of our past. By sprucing up 43 044 ‘Edward Paxman’ 43 048 ‘T.C.B. Miller MBE’ and to original design condition they can be part of something special. Something to remember.

Be now or for future generations. I feel it’s all about preserving that history and to celebrate it openly, and why there is more to come shortly.

    Bye for now;)

    ✌.

    Hello again,,

Okay a few shots of my latest Railway 200 and S&DR200 themed livery work.
The more demanding type of work, yet didn’t take as long as I’d thought. So starting the next soon as I’m done writing here.
I few things to play with first.

43 807 Ex 43 036 ‘GWR Swindon Works’ to sit with 43 838 ‘James Hurst’, GWR first driver and GWR oldest surviving class 29XX No 2807 that was built in 1906 at the Swindon Works. No 2807 was finally withdrawn in 1963 ending a 58 year old career for GWR before being sent for Scrap down in south Wales. Barry’s.
    IMG_7231.jpeg IMG_7232.jpeg
No 2807 survived Barry’s yard and the last to be recovered from to be fully restored. Now preserved and in working condition after a lengthy 29 year period and recent 10 Year overhaul at Toddington completed back in 2023.
No 2807 is owed by the Cotswold Steam Preservation Limited and holds many records for such class of locomotive.

More photos and news will be posted on full release.

That’s that for now folks. Enjoy the rest of the evening.

    Rigsby.

Okay an update now the 3 Class 43s have been released including a formation.

43 807 ‘GWR Swindon Works early this morning leaving Old Oak to Paddington for its first passenger service. IMG_7258.jpeg IMG_7259.jpeg IMG_7262.jpeg
Side profile showing a recreation of a Class 28XX technical drawing. I wanted to add the actual measurement but decal limits prevented those from being added.

And a simple formation for now. IMG_7267.jpeg IMG_7266.jpeg A 9 Car formation using existing GWR stock for now as there are plans for matching rolling stock when time isn’t so pressing.
Hitting a few issues with some of the liveries I’m attempting but decal limits is the main hurdle.

I’ve also hit a problem with creating a formation using 43 044 and 43 048 as I can’t track MML class 43 in formation designer.
That’s knocked back plans made for creating a formation using again existing MK3 IC rolling stock.

Not long to go now tho and so I shall say bye for now folks.

    Goood Morning All.

Okay something I’ve been waiting to do for a long time now;)
    IMG_7665.jpeg
A lover of Ships and Ocean liners had some basic knowledge of such services as the Golden Arrow and Night Ferry Services.
Feeding the docks with goods and passengers that was vital to the country during WW2, this led to the class gaining merchant navy names.
Here I feel theses names and what they once meant should be mentioned by applying a Railway 200 theme.
A golden era of Southern locomotives and the role of the shipping lines keeping Britain on the move during the war and after.
Not forgetting to mention the glamour and prestige in both the liners and the trains of the 1940 and 50s.

Sadly all gone now, all such beautiful pieces of machinery built with pride and engineering expertise.
A cultural movement lost to time.

Well more to do yet so bye for now and enjoy the rest of the day,,ITS THE WEEKEND:)

    ✌.

Oh don’t, loads to do but I’m old now, SLEEP keeps getting in the way!!!. Keep passing out and making some silly mistakes.

    Got my hedkandi on tho.

The work is vast and complicated but that’s not going stop me now.

I’d rather it be late and bang on then early and give a slap in the face to those the work may represent.
Plus TSW6 is way better than I originally thought it would be. Solid game with a few sound glitches in the music etc but nothing effecting the class 220. That thing is a rocket mate. Best drive in a long time.

Anyway back to back work all though out the day so keep ya eyes peeled.

    Enjoy the celebrations all.

200 years ago today the world changed. Or what I’d call a massive case of the Butterfly Effect.
One that never ends;) every little thing we do has an effect.

We can all make a difference Tom:)
    For a better tomorrow.

    New version:)

    A little update.

The Merchant Navy theme was going to be applied with 200 theme but with much more to do and retaining from over use of Railway 200 branding I have left it off.

    The Merchant Navy theme NON Railway 200 now. IMG_7730.jpeg IMG_7731.jpeg IMG_7737.jpeg IMG_7738.jpeg

    Bye for now Folks.

    The End.

Okay then Folks firstly an apology for what I feel is a late form of communication on what I felt should have been better presented during the actual day of celebration.
And to end the project now the event is technically over.

    So where to start.
    Well at the start.

A simple thought on my return after a years absence from the franchise. I came back with the intention of having fun to just relax enjoying the game as any normal person would or any normal working person would. But I’m not normal and who can define that, I can’t but I can define what ambition is for one can feel ambition, to feel and in passion to do. Act.

Or Mad? Mad to do something with no confidence and under mental health conditions that I tried my hardest to hide.
I was a broken man yet that ambition to change to make that difference for not just the individual but for all drove me on.
Why well we share this world, our environment the one each and everyone of us share. The world that makes me Ill.
Our world, our society has become unbearable to those that see and feel it all. My gift but a curse at the same time.
The madness for the men of vision. I can’t be happy till everyone is because it’s our world our and my environment.

Yet how can one man make a difference even one for all mankind. Yes daft I know but some dream of becoming a train engineer I dream of a better future and want to build it now. The present. Plato says we all have a Job to do, and if anyone understands the deeper world and all the coding hidden then you will understand that each person is programmed to do a job. Hence they do over and over. The same is defined as madness but to try over and over differently is what brings success. Eventually, yet could still be considered mad.
You can’t travel at speed, are you mad?, your head will pop off. George Stephenson would have been the mad one if He listened to the doubters that have no vision.
So a dream is a not a dream it’s our coding telling us what we are meant to be and can only rest until they achieve that dream or meet what the coding asks within those vision of the mind. That’s true happiness. To do what we love.

Okay well little waffle over but the point is I wanted to change help others and our environment.
Baring in mind I had no intention of being in the lime light. Believe it or not I like to be on my own, not because I’m rude to what others do no no, it’s a world I know can hurt even on line behind closed doors.
So I had seen the Railway 200 advertised a few times, it was here the moment to do an open based community project came to mind.
First I needed help. Here I thought about TG08 after he mentioned something that helped me a lot. Slow down.
I explained a rough outline of the basic concept for the Greatest Gathering on TSW5 and the possible perks as His thread wasn’t getting much attention and was publicly getting him down. To me that would suggest he wants the lime light. Perfect because I don’t.

    R200 Project was born.
Now without throwing anyone under the bus I will keep it simple because the project was simple.
Key Aim and ones I tried to covey to all members within the team that at one point had my lucky number 7.
Was it written in the stars or did evil step in.
But the Aim of the project was to create TGG on TSW5 using community work placed in for use as display on TGG on TSW5 or At the Event. And some used for routes as members had complete freedom to enjoy what Railway 200 was all about.
Cultural and Historical context with some bigger government aims at boosting public awareness and confidence in a more sustainable diversifying society. All for a better future in the UK and its rail industry. Educating people was part of the real Railway 200 key principles which is clearly evident with the Inspiration Train.
I wanted to allow all members to be free with a task that was aimed at completing all that was necessary to run our project in line with the real Railway 200 overall objective. It’s not just about the trains but the people and their future of rail transportation.

I knew this yet the message got lost in what I’d say lost time spent micromanaging. Something I didn’t want to happen on the grounds of lost time and personal space. And if I am to say anything was a contributing factor to why this project wasn’t the success I’d wanted for all then lost time micromanaging is one. Lost so much time and could say fun. For me taking is fine on what one says they will do but it’s acts that speak louder. Again for followers of this thread I wanted fun interesting content not what turned out to be page of waffle with not much jam.

I’m not here to blame no one tho. I’m sure looking back I or those that was once part of something we could have built and be proud of turned to a whisper, a thing of the past that was only days ago a future. Ones that for me now is closed. Gone and all forgotten.
I am a believe in not spending time on something that serves no purpose or holds no value in doing.
It all takes energy and sometimes bad energy. I prefer good energy because bad energy is what gives rise to any bad thoughts.
You will only see bad acts from men filled with bad energy to for all those thoughts to born in the first place.
Intensional acts, and why bad energy spreads faster than good. Negative energy is more prominent in society than good.

Examples of this are from the Gif gang that will get more attention for bad acts than one of sharing a picture or livery.
Pointless staying when they show up, waste of time or exchange of bad energy.

Has all this been a waste of time. No. Life is one big test. Testing is how we get answers to questions we don’t know.
And why when it comes to testing then I had to test myself even making all this harder than it should.
In 2024 I would have fallen apart and spit my dummy out.
Now tho I’m Happy as Jack;).
I’ve grown and learnt a lot more about not only myself but the deeper or more complex political aspects to what goes on within many rail sectors. Be government owned or private. As a well weathered livery creator then man doing this project team based and on my own has been a rush of excitement. So many twist and turns that have contributed to this project turning into what it has.
With the work I have produced during the last few months then non was for the benefit of just me. My Aim as an individual community member that was a creator and key member of the R200 Project was to be inspired and create work. Be two people at once.

For past members then I will say this. I thank you for believing in me but I knew for this to be a success it had to be a team effort.
We did spend a lot of time and commitment to this project yet one day something went pop and that was that.
You and I was all free to enjoy what Railway 200 was all about.

The Past, The Present, The Future,, TOGETHER. Together being the key word.
So Gents. We gave it a shot what was then the present now the past and that future that was then is now.

And now is the moment this thread ends. R200 Project is over. But not dead;).
Loads of work didn’t make the dead line yet with some forward thinking they will be seen.
22 I had when starting out I reached around 100 liveries done from May roughly looking at the numbers, and still have about 50 to do.
Mostly long complex work that I can fully relax and enjoy creating now as I say this is all over.

I’d like to say a massive thank you to Aeronautic or Jimbo as I call him. He’s supported me when things got a little rough.
And even TG08 and JPlayz that were great guys at the beginning.
Yet being considered not normal I seen what power does to men. Even envy or jealousy to be number one. To get all the validation they seek. I knew it would happen and why nothing was personal, yet I did hope all members The Lucky 7 was able to provide for Railway 200 fans and anything planned afterwards. Ones I never spoken off because the overall consensus was one step at a time.
    Listening was my down fall.

But the past is the past and that is where it will remain.
What Railway 200 has shown me and time spent on this journey wasn’t a waste of time.
It’s been one of the most rewarding enjoyable experiences for a long while.
I love a good buzz and leaving some work unplanned gives me that. I found working under pressure can deliver some interesting work with the tools I have. Hence I have hit a limit and why the future could lead me away from this forum because liveries is my coding and so will endeavour to be a part of a livery design studio because,,,.

    That’s what I’ve been told.

So yep that’s that. I do thank my old team at the beginning for working so hard and to the best of their and our abilities.
We could have done it together yet like I say at the beginning who likes a person that is considered not normal.

Yet I say why make a choice on something that can’t be defined yet the ideas or vision was missed.
    Or was they.

And on that note here I will say a massive thank you to all that subscribed to Railway 200 themed work.
Yes it’s nice to see great numbers but keeping to my expectations or roots of quality speaks for itself.
Pointless creating work that’s is of now value for others to enjoy.

Seeing others happy makes me happy, it’s that what’s makes creating content worth the while doing. So folks please forgive my tone in some parts.
Off loading to move on and that’s it.

    FIN.

Take care all and just remember we all share this world. The Butterfly is always carrying the future. That future lays in the hands of us all in the moment or others. So it’s important that the energy is of good because you know how I feel about the bad.
It spreads on the wings too. Hence altering the future today,

Be kind and remember success or failure it’s shows where only Human.
We all make mistakes, but again a mistake is only a mistake if we don’t learn or grow for the better of one and for all.

    Lee✌.

It was great being a small part of this project. I had great fun with my short stint making liveries.

Thank you Lee for the opportunity and for taking us through your excellent liveries.

TrainGeek08 and Jplayz, while it's unlikely you'll see this, thank you for being so welcoming to me and for sharing your creative spirits.

Well even though I only made 1 scenario with very minimal ai than the likes of TG08’s planned scenario, I still would like the say a thank you to everyone on the team, including Aeronautic, for bringing this project into the (not that big, but still big ) of a limelight.

I would also like to say a thanks to the three originals, Lee, Mr Mystery (Jplayz) and TG08 for letting me join the team and overall be a part of it.
Still, I would also like to apologise for the littlest of content I could possibly make. I forgot to mention I am usually a MASSIVE procrastinator before joining.

Anyways, It’s TomTrainBoi done, if you need me I’ll be in my creation yard ;)
