150 on PS5 for me, not sure about the 220.

The 150 had the engine stalls three times while sat at Exeter St Davids.

Hi DTG Harry, I've just completed a 220 run from Paignton to Manchester Piccadilly (1M41). I had about 10 engine stalls before Newton Abbot and probably around 20 overall, but I gave up counting at some point. I'm on Steam and the build number is 527.

So this evening I ran 2C69 in the 4 car HST on the PS5. During the run there was a 40mph TSR but despite have AWS on I didn't get an alarm. So it's not clear yet that feature has been implemented properly.

Currently driving 1C50 Paddington to Penzance (The Night Riviera), coming up to a 40mph TSR, passed the yellow warning sign but no AWS activation despite safety systems being on.

Yes it’s no good just having the magnets appear visually, they need to interact with the train too!

Seems since the latest update all the ai is running with reds on the front, definitely on the 150 and the 220 so far. Also affecting the hst, this is on pc

When saving the game, leaving and then returning, all 150s appear as 150215, so any 4-car services are somewhat ruined.

Additionally, though this may be a core TSW6 issue, the textures are terrible on Xbox Series S; the textures go blurry and low quality usually at Newton Abbot, Teignmouth or somewhere between those two stations.. and stay like that for the rest of the game. The only fix is to save, leave and then reload the save - but with the 150 issue mentioned above, that isn't always too good of an option....

I think this is because of the Hill Start, which toggles on this train. So DTG you can discard this for me.

I believe that this is directly related to these changes in Friday's patch:

    - Changed duplicated service 2E29 to 5P31.
    - Changed duplicated service 2C04 to 2T08 in Journey Mode.

You'll have to complete those two services again, but the medals will stay after that.

looks like faults are fixed... tho I encountered a strange thing with HST (1U20 or sth, from Plymouth)... tried lower notches first, then higher ones, and at some points it seemed the engine completely shut down, cos I was rolling backwards even on max notch... restarted it like 2x, third time everything worked as intended :D ... so dunno if I managed to press some key without noticing, or the game just bugged for a bit (had faults on and fault notif. on)

The update has caused an issue with the doors randomly not locking on the 150. With train faults turned off, a door may still remain open by error randomly. However, once it's closed you are unable to reopen or lock any doors, and it shows on the hud that the doors are open even when they are shut. It's a fault that stops the game as you can no longer continue. Very irritating. I'm not sure what the update actually fixed, but I'd happily go back to the previous build!

This is the same with the 802 and 220. When loading in, the 802 becomes 802 234 and the 220 becomes 220 000

It's a pain. I gave up and ended the game. Probably not the greatest of ideas for DTG to push an update through on a Friday afternoon knowing, that if there are problems, they cannot be addressed until the following week.

Ah good to know, I haven't actually used the 802 yet and hadn't noticed the issue with the 220.. cheers for that!
Hopefully it'll get sorted soon - it's a very annoying issue

Gauge light problem, Class 150. Although the dials illuminate properly, the needles do not- making them useless in the dark

DTG Harry there’s a bug in the scoring system on the Riveria Line in TSW 6.

I drove Flying Scotsman on the Cathedrals Express - Part 1 timetable service (with signalling systems on) and arrived at Plymouth on time, receiving the maximum 240 AP added to my current score for timing and stopping accuracy. However, after finishing loading the passengers, I only got 176 AP (eight 22 APs) added on to my score instead of the usual 250 AP (like I got at Exeter). Please fix this.

    Platform: Xbox Series X.
Service: Cathedrals Express - Part 1.
Repeatability: I have replayed the timetable service a few times, but the same thing keeps happening.

What is going off with the 150/2 on Xbox series x on Paignton to Exeter route 150/2 wipers suddenly stop and engine suddenly all cut out at once and yes whilst having random faults enabled no longer get warnings at so I feel this is faulty as never before do you leave Dawlish doing only 10 mph only to have all engines complete die and still light up engine start button

Reading through the various feedback threads, I feel that intentionally adding bugs to a game as riddled with bugs as TSW already was, may not have been the best of ideas.

just noticed that the HST 4car (aka 6car) needs notch 4 to get moving, even on like 0.4% incline, which is weird, since I dont know about any antiroll brakes on this unit...

edit: alright... looks like I am dumb and it was the brakes taking their sweet tea time to release lol... will see upon doing more runs

Just had my first timetable issue.

    Platform: PC / Steam

Service: 2T18 1223 Exmouth (1300 Exeter) to Paignton

    Weather/Time: Custom, 13th October.

    Player service: Class 166.

Issue: Held at a red signal outside of the timetables stop at Newton Abbot P1, as service in front - 2T17 says service off path. Once I was able to delete the path and train, the signal cleared letting me complete the service.

Have played around 20 services now on Riviera Line and first time I’ve come across an issue.

Also, any TSRs seem to be in the same place, yeah it's random if they are there but when they are, it's always in the same place. No variations in locations

Yes the 150/2 repeated engine shutdowns and full ones at that train suddenly dies with no warnings indicating faults and wipers suddenly stop working and as soon as you reset engines they all repeatedly die and this is Xbox series x

Score breakdown is broke on PS5 for the IET. All safety systems on and executed but no score provided at the end of the run.
So now there is only the HST without a problem on the flagship route….well I haven’t experienced one yet.

    Full of nonsensical invisible barriers.

Tavistock Sidings (literally right next to main line) completely inaccessible.

Also at Plymouth (heading towards Exeter), there's an invisible barrier preventing you from walking within inches of... a brick wall you can't climb.

Whilst standing at Paignton, I got signal passed at danger.

How, I do not know, I spawned on foot and hadn't yet taken over a service. All I did was simply stand outside the train.

For reference, I was stood on platform 2. 1M41 was on the platform and I stood outside the door. Did nothing else.

Did this twice and got service failure signal passed at danger twice.

We can pass red signals when we're walking now apparently.

In this case, it was the AI that passed a signal at danger. You get exactly the same message as if you did it yourself.

On PS5 EU we don't have the "Day of dispatcher" scenario, we have only 5 scenarios of 8 than we can see on the last live youtube from Harry on Rivera Line, is it normal ?

    A few more issues:

Spawned on foot at five minutes past midnight, 5V68 had already parked up at Laira depot despite Part 1 not starting until 23 minutes past. This makes both parts 1 and 2 unavailable when starting on foot, possibly also other similar services that start after midnight. Voyager.

5F22 (Part 2) spawns you at Exeter Depot when selected from menu. This is a shunt move at Paignton with the Class 166. This has happened before on other routes (6Y71 on SEHS still does this) and was apparently fixed iirc.

Also, why is the cab light on the 802 automatically on?

The train that passed the signal at danger could be in any part of the route, many miles away from your sight.

I don't know if this has happened to anyone, but every time I end a service with Class 150 and I have Lock Doors, even though I close the door, the service doesn't end.....it's only when I open and close it repeatedly, preferably on both sides, that the command ends and it jumps to the service result.

That usually happens when the service has an "end of voyage" instruction at the end that should make everyone get out of the train.
For whatever reason, most of the time not all the passengers will leave the train. The game shows you the "close doors" instruction, but internally it still "thinks" that the doors should have been kept open a bit longer (but the passengers will not leave anyway).

As a workaround, you could just keep the doors open some more seconds before closing them after the game shows you the ·"close doors" instruction, or just do what you have been doing until now (opening and closing the doors again).

The game internally considers that passengers can get out of the train as soon as the animation of the doors opening starts, and keeps counting the time until the doors are fully closed again. So each time you open and close the doors, it adds like 7-10 seconds to your stop that the passengers could use to leave the train.

I'm currently riding the Riviera Line, practically Class 150, and I noticed one thing: during the service, the display on my GSM-R Radio goes out...it says GSM-R GB and then the train number, and then it goes out after a some time....... I don't know if there's a reason for this or if it's a bug?

150 definitely needs the top end power curve flattening. It's a lovely train to drive but heading out of Newton Abbot towards Teignmouth, at 72 MPH it was still accelerating like a trooper in Notch 7. Yes, it should be possible to coax it slightly over the 75 maximum but there should be a noticeable tailing off in acceleration as you hit the top end of the final drive. It almost feels as if the power curve for a 90 MPH 158 or 166 has been used instead.

For the 150, HUD shows max speed limit of over 75mph (its max speed) when in those sections where the speed limit is above 75mph.

AI 150s also go over the max speed.

Long standing core issue problem I believe. I found it happens on any train after a journey of about 20 to 30 mins. You have to turn it on to wake up the display, deregister and then back on again. If you can be bothered!

Driving a service at night yesterday and found the cars going over the road bridge at Teignmouth were casting a shadow onto the tracks below, now I'm no scientist but I don't think that's how shadows are supposed to work

That section of line is slow and bendy with alot of gradients for a mainline ,so it doesn't allow alot of speed anyway

thats ok, tho I would think that the new king of the hill aka sth to succeed HST would have more power even under diesel :) ... maybe I should try the shorter 802 and see how that fares :)

Since the last update, every train I’ve driven in timetable mode, at stopping at the first station - at the point of then wanting to leave the station, either it says lock doors (even though they are) or it locks but then when you try to pull away, the revs rise but you don’t go anywhere. It’s unplayable for me. I have all the random events switched off. I didn’t have these issues prior to the last update.

can someone explain to me this strange thing with 802, the 9car version? I have probably mentioned it here already... when starting at Plymouth, 1.1% incline, when I release brakes and put on notch 2, it just keeps train from slipping backwards... then I put it into notch 3, starts moving and then I can revert to notch 2 and it keeps moving... like, the hell :D ... why cant notch 2 get it moving from standstill (if it can keep the train moving after reverting from notch 3)?

does notch 3 like release some sort of additional brakes or sth? I dont understand this

edit: also tried 802 in electric mode in Free Roam on Birmingham Cross City, starting at Bromsgrove, to try its power output under electric... aaand, around 60 mph it struggled up that hill, pretty bad :D ... not losing much speed, but still... I kinda expected 802 to be more powerful? ... or is it in real life? or am I mistaking it with 805 (is that one more powerful)?
