I vaguely remember the halo issue that started with version 77.6, was fixed in 78.1, but in 79.0 it’s back to the same old problem,
I ran multiple locomotives, scenarios and routes last night and did not see this issue at all. Where is anyone seeing this? Could it have somethingto do with settings?
I don't know if the Light Flares in Setting might be the cause - I have it switched off so I would not see it
Yes.I don't know why them don't fix the visable bugs,I think before release the new version, the developer need to fix as more as possible bug in beta and then convert the repaired test version into the official version, rather than wrapping the old version.
it's already turn on in my game,in 78.1beta and all early version,it's visable but in 77.6and 79.0 it can't.many old loco don't have self light(my mean is when you open the light in cab the lights on loco will "light up"(just a decal)) they use the addtion "light.bin" to make loco light come true,if it unwork the loco light will looks like off in all situation
It's not the number of hours but the earliest version you have. If you had TSC2023 then you have had v75.8a which means by following Spikee1975's directions you can revert to it.
I bought it at the end of 2021. I remember it was 72.1 or something like that, but I recall the previous version was prone to memory overflow, which caused crashes, especially when switching. However, I think I should follow what you said and downgrade to 75.8 at least, as the signal lights and lamps are fine.
https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...ly-install-old-ts-versions-next-to-tsc.71041/ As you pointed out the first version you purchased was 78.1 so you would not be able to download an earlier version
You could take a look in the gaming software sites for a download of an earlier version say TSC 2021 or 2022 or 2023. Buying one of them at a reduced price would give you the enablement required to use Spikee1975's "formula" the link to which Peter has given. EDIT : Just had a message from Spikee1975 (my thanks to him). You can go back to v75.8a (or any other version) as long as you have any version later than the one you want. So you do have the choice.
We need Spike1975 back on here as he knows the answers to such questions Most of the time we are going off what we think we know
if I choice beta edition the steam will download 78.1,if I choice normal edition the steam will download 79.0(it used to be 77.6 and others old edition )
As already has been said you have to download the older version you would like to use and install it yourself. Read this thread (already linked by Peter in an earlier post): [guide] How To Legally Install Old Ts Versions Next To Tsc | Dovetail Games Forums
