Bet it's counting in the background, just not showing. Try driving a few more miles to take it over the total, see if it then unlocks Tier 2.
Yes I'll do that tomorrow though currently doing a NY to Trenton Amtrak run to finish Tier One of the US (Sherman Hill scum saving took care of the scenario requirement).
Update, after doing a quick Watford to Wembley run on PS5 (which was horrid with texture and shadow fluttering, hitching, sound dropouts and at one point the dreaded drainpipe effect) Tier One UK now showing complete and Tier Two unlocked but the objectives have reversed with the mileage finished but the cold timetable runs not!

And now suddenly 2 of the Tier 2 tasks for December have reverted, despite the whole thing still showing as completed. Ticket re-opened!
Well Tier 2 for UK has thus far failed to register my 350 run from Crewe to New Street as being over 100 MPH when significant sections of the trip were! So the three timetable runs are shown as done but it won’t clear Tier 2 as complete when it most certainly is. I enjoy doing the masteries, but really if they are going to be a feature of the game, they need to track and work properly. Edit: Just a thought. The wording for Tier 2 is complete a run after exceeding 100 MPH. So does that mean if you resume a saved run, then just pootle along between Wolves and Birmingham at 60 MPH it’s not seeing it. Guess I’ll try again with a run I can complete in one session, Stafford to Crewe with a 390 and see if that clicks it over.
Update: Well doing a quick 390 run from Crewe to Stafford in one hit cleared the 100+ MPH requirement so if anyone else has a similar issue to me, it does indeed look like you need to do the run in one hit.
Yes, it also seems to do this with distance driven. Only the miles driven after reloading your save seem to count.
Christmas mastery so very nearly completed without having to raise a ticket - the UK one was a little buggy, in that 'Cold Start' didn't update until Tier 1 was completed, but then it did update to show as completed. However, the USA one hasn't updated 'Christmas Chaos' in Tier 2 at all, even once Tier 2 shows as completed. Ticket raised!
I just used Timetable mode and made sure Dynamic Weather was off then setting the month to November or December. That should give a suitable temperature.
It's as simple as it gets in the regular game. Britain is quite warm if you use the real-world weather mod.
I haven't got any mods on PC either, but as I said just selecting November, December or indeed January should do the trick. As a bonus pick a run at dawn or dusk and add a little fog with the default slider to get a lovely atmospheric run.
I was QUOTEing vodka man about mods. when I do dusk or dawn I always play with it misty. It really gives chilled vibe.
I played them all in December 10th to 12th with dynamic weather and all of them counted fine. You usually get a starting temperature between -5 and -10ºC
Distance driven is playing up on the US Tier 2. Just finished an 18 mile run on Boston Sprinter which only clocked up about 5 miles. So it does indeed only seem to be recognising mileage run in the last session before ending the run, not what you did before saving and coming off.
I think mastery has only ever counted once you complete the service, and it has never counted something prior to a reloaded save as otherwise you could just drive 50 miles, save it and repeatedly claim 50 miles you haven't driven.
Not strictly true as on the monthly mastery accumulated distance from a run done over several sessions has always counted so, say, 90 miles from a run in Carlisle to Preston done over a couple of evenings full total is credited.
Everything going as planned. Only one US scenario and about 11 km to go. The only thing that hitched was the German tier 2 XP counter (still at zero), and some rides not counting towards the mileage goal of december. Still completed everything regardless.
I think I got all three completed now, but the thing was going bananas yesterday evening, each time I went in and out then back to the main menu it was showing various combinations of partial or non completion. Eventually I got it to come up and show all six entries in the yellow zone so called it a day at that point, So off now I think to finish the ETS2 Nordic Horizon event and also their Winter Wonderland delivery event.
The counter remained in place despite the fact that the task was listed as completed and I received a reward (in reality, the amount of ХP is approximately 100,000).

As previously mentioned, next year maybe try and organise a community event alongside the individual similar to the ETS2 Winter Wonderland.

Great idea! Lets add extra monthly challenges, and cut support early (because we all know the Mastery tracker is very reliable, right?).
In all fairness, it is pretty standard for companies to be closed over the Christmas break - though not as much between the 29th and 31st (inclusive) which are working days.
I can understand that, even I think it is a good idea to give some rest to everyone. But IMHO it was not needed to increase the number of tasks to finish by the players knowing that the mastery system is not the most reliable and support is not going to be there to fix it.
To be fair, even with the glitches and jumping around between TSW6, Farm Sim and ETS2 I finished both the Monthly and Xmas Mastery well before the support holiday start date. Though I appreciate different people have different circumstances.
