It's been fixed for ages, there's no issues with the PS5 version anyway.

Maybe it's an Xbox thing then. I haven't had, I don't think, any updates for the 52 ever, so I assume it's still broken, as in you set it in the corridor behind the cab, but when it goes off you can't cancel it and it dumps the brakes. Oh well, we'll see I suppose...

Yeah it was the same issue for me so I never activated it. Then one day I'd read somewhere (Possibly on the forums) that it had been fixed, so I gave it a try and to my surprise it was sorted.

I wish I had some artistic flare and the ability to build traction, my advice to all the youngsters in here. There's a modest living to be made making Train Simulation content. Give it a go, you could be the next Just Trains or Armstrong Powerhouse. If I had my time again.........

Now here's a thought (courtesy of TrainGeek08) - is the 345 prototypical for the era of the remaster? Guessing it's not as if it was I'm sure it would have already been thought of (710 masquerading as a 345) but thought it worth asking in case anyone knows.

Class 345s were introduced on the Western section of TfL Rail (now Elizabeth Line) after when the remaster is set ;). If TfL Rail was to make an appearance however, it would be the ex-Heathrow Connect Class 360s.

I remember this transition well when we lived on the line. My now wife was returning from work in central London and texted me saying her usual green train (class 387) had been replaced by a purple train!

Absolutely correct, the Class 360/2 was the TfL unit during the represented GWE era as nothing for Crossrail was finalised at that point. I am surprised, even more so now we have the 350s, that the 360/2 is not in game. As I have said over and over again, GWE really needs a few dlcs to fill out the accurate timetable and they are...

    Class 57 with Sleeper stock
    Genuine Class 165/1
    Class 180
    Class 332 HeX
    Class 360/2 HConnect

I would love to see and indeed buy all of the above as well as multiple other classes missing from various UK routes. It is high time that we have a massive influx of locomotive dlc which so far have been few and slow to release with so many obvious gaps and missed opportunities thus far. Come on developers, please please please.

I watched a video from Trainsimulatordriver on Youtube showing all the DLCs necessary to fully populate the route. Most of those were to be expected but some really surprised me.

For example, the Midland Main Line, which comes with an EMT Class 43 and an EMT Class 158. I did not know those came anywhere near the GWML.

For Southeastern High Speed, my explanation is that it is used for the JNA wagons and maybe 375s and 465s being dragged with the EPX Class 37.

EMK and Brighton Main Line do not ring a bell immediately as well but that may be to resemble the Heathrow Express trains.

Those will be seen at Reading to represent the South West Trains Class 158 services.
It uses the JNA's for some extra freight and the Class 37 for Reading Triangle services.
EMK for the Class 350, which has a new Heathrow Connect inspired livery for those services. BML for the Class 387 in a variety of liveries which don't have timetable services but can spawned in to fit on the route.

Said it before, but will say it again. I still wish they had either finished the electrification to Reading or gone back in time and ended at Airport Junction. I hate seeing the unfinished electrification as it narrows down the route to one very short era.
And I also had the misfortune of travelling on that line a lot around that time and having to put up with all the engineering works and timetable alterations. It brings back some bad memories! :D

On the bright side, you've now got more Electrostars than you could ever want!

In all seriousness, it must suck purchasing something under the assumption it would layer in. I'm sorry.

Maybe comforting to know that BML is a great route and getting it is never a bad idea. You should try it!

BML was one of my choices when asked about routes needing a remaster.

Don't want to take this thread off-topic so my final word on it, but even a timetable change would improve BML. Dump the Southeastern services, get the 700s in and have the 378s at Clapham, along with faked up 707s in unbranded SWR livery, just to give the area around Clapham Junction some life. I'm not sure the excuses for not including the 700s in the past are valid now.

If we don’t receive a BML remaster/extension than clearly DTG are not listening to their player base.

Ideally what I’d like to see is an extension to London Blackfriars, so it would give us a longer run with the Class 700 to Brighton.

Having Blackfriars modelled could mean us getting another potential route in the future. London Blackfriars to Sevenoaks.
Maybe getting ahead of myself here, one can dream though :)

No, it would mean they haven't worked out a way to make it financially viable. Unless they do a LIRR and do a completely new and extended route, but that would have to have a lot that's new to try and counteract all the "I'm not paying twice for this route" complaints there would be.

(PS I'd pay twice in a heartbeat, this is one of my favourite routes.)

Still good on Xbox, but I find the lighting so dark that I struggle a bit.

Same here, as much as a remaster would be appreciated I’d still prefer some extra track to drive on with an extension. They call it London commuter, so that would still fit into the bracket of a London route with the addition to London Blackfriars. It’s got to make sense though, just extending random lines from the main line “Willy nilly” it wouldn’t work.

The main stars of the show are the 377, 387, 465 and the Thameslink class 700.
The 375 could be a paid loco add-on.

Definitely, DTG would charge us premium for this just like LIRR v2.
Like you, I’d happily pay the price as it’s one of my favourite UK routes in the game. I haven’t played it in months though, as like many TSW2 era routes they look too outdated.

Thankfully I already owned it since release.

Hadn't touched it for a while so was happy I'd be able to use it for this route as a layer with the 387.

Ah well, it's still a great route either way.
